They were racing for the same position... Either Jake was overachieving or Eli was underachieving. The track isn't India with a caste system.

It's a race....the biggest of the season and every milli-second counts towards your earning capacity for the reast of your career.

Tell me how you wouldn't try to make that pass and I'll tell you why you're not racing SX for a living.

If he had made the pass we would all be saying what a great move it was, it went wrong and that sucks.
Blaming the guy for trying to move forward in all that chaos is ridiculous to me.

I like the semis, more racing is a good thing imo. I think you will see good battles between the top guys trying to get top four in the heats.

okay, for guys that have had a pinched nerve in their shoulder how long of an injury is this?
all depends on the severity, i have had them last weeks, and also only overnight, its a weird deal and can pop right back.

I dont cut people off in rush hour without expecting an insurance claim. Lets just call this one first round adrenaline. Eli will be back. Thats about as close as jake will be to him the rest of the season
Agreed...

I think they may have to work the track a little more with the additional racing.

Upon further review I think Weimer got took out by Tomac's move. Looked like Weimer had a clean line through there.
That's what I seen.

Ralph, Emig and RC had zero enthusiasm and seemed bored during the 250 LCQ.
Yeah, not much energy from RC tonight. He must be tired from all the first race planning, handshaking, etc..

by the time weimer saw tomac scrubbing to the left to double he was already committed to tripling, he had no chance of doubling or hucking it to the right to avoid tomac

For the record, I like Jenny Taft. She is doing a good job and seems pretty comfortable already. Nice looking lady too. Smile
x2

And the new angles and action coverage has been better tonight

I guess Im in the minority. After re-watching the Weimer incident, Weimer looked like he was trying ti move to the front, saw an opportunity, jumped the triple, was straight in the air and Tomac turned into him. Weimer even tried to adjust in the air when he noticed Tomac turning in under him. Sucks for Tomac but it looked like he was the one who made the mistake.

To answer the question, a pinched nerve could be anywhere from a week to a season. Id say he will be back next week, 2 weeks tops as long as there is no capsule or soft tissue damage. I just had a shoulder op last oct. They are a terrible place to get hurt

It's not like they run mirrors or crystal balls on their bikes. Race incidents happen, this is SX not curling...

Tomac is lucky if it's just a pinched nerve.

That shoulder took all the impact in that crash.

Under a microscope both were at fault, reality its a racing incident and shit happens.

Alessi, RV, Brayton & Grant could have gone out for a meal and a couple of beers, they would have comfortably made it back in time for their second and final track outing.
