Broken Arm for Canard

Nooooooooo, he was riding so good I was curious to see how he'd end up! Hope he heals fast and makes it back soon. Dudes been dealt a lot of injuries and keeps a good attitude and stays positive which is hard to do, he'll be back.

So bummed!!

Trey Canard Injured While Preparing for 2014 Supercross

Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard was involved in a crash during practice over the Thanksgiving weekend while preparing for the 2014 Supercross season, sustaining a broken arm. Canard underwent successful surgery on Tuesday December 3, and will begin rehabilitation in preparation for the 2014 Supercross season. Canard had a successful 2013 season, highlighted by his sixth-place overall finish in the Supercross series and fourth overall in the Motocross standings.

“Of course we are disappointed that Trey will miss the opening rounds of the 2014 SX season,” said Director of Racing, Ray Conway. “He has been going really fast at all our pre-season test sessions. We all know how hard Trey will work to get back as soon as he can, and the whole team can’t wait for his return.”

Fuuuu....... Poor guy is the Broc Hepler of broken bones. Get well soon sir.

Gutted for him. Canard is one of my favorites, hate to see this guy get knocked down so much. Hopefully he's back by round 2 or 3 depending on how bad it is.

Heal fast Trey & keep your head up. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Stay positive and remember what don't kill you, only serves to make you stronger!

IMO He should really consider retirement for his own sake. Hate seeing him get hurt year after year after year.

I believe in this kid: He'll be back as soon as is HUMANLY possible (With a little help from his Faith).

Guys got so much speed. I don't know if its bad luck or weak bones ?? I wish the kid could stay healthy and do some damage on the track with results.

Gutted for TC!!! I know everyone was planning on him having a really good season this year!!! He just got a full season under his belt & now this. 1st Davey, now him. The field is getting chipped away at & it's not even A1!!!! Ahhh I hate this..

Regardless of this set back I still believe he will win this supercross season, I have faith.

Good opportunity for a east coast Geico rider to get a couple races in with the big boys.

So both underdogs that went 1 and 2 at A1 last year are out for A1 this year.
in other news, neither rider is sponsored by Monster.

It is a but of a strange coincidence though, really bummed for Trey, he's been through more than any rider should have to go through.

I have this image of him crashing, breaking his arm, then just looking up at the sky like, "Dude really? I thank you every time I'm on the podium and this is what I get? That ginger freak never mentions you yet he wins F*$#KING everything!"

man that really sucks, Trey is too good of a talent to be hurt time after time. hope to see him get healthy soon and not have to miss too many races.

it's pretty wild, Trey never seems like he's going for it but he's hauling ass and has these huge wrecks and gets hurt. trade places with Barcia and the dudes just wild as hell and goes for broke and doesn't crash and doesn't get hurt.

he broke his collarbone last year before A1 no? he came out swinging there. hopefully hes healed up for January

Any details on which arm / which bones? I'm assuming plated since he had surgery. Total bummer to hear. I was hoping to see him have another solid year.
