Best news I've heard in awhile!

Really wasn't wanting to see deano win another title outdoors I think this will change that.

I really hope this unfolds.... if it does and he's 100% the 250 class is going to be awesome.

I think theres something to be said about chasing a goal like this... pretty odd deal jumping down from 450 to 250, but Im guessing those two lost titles keep him awake at night. A lot to prove in that class with Wilson and Bagget also hungry to set the record straight. Can't wait.

The Yam 250 isn't considered a stink bug like the 450 eh?

so... how do Wilson and Bagget stay in 250 outdoors as past national champs?

just curious. i personally like Wilson better and think he has more to offer, Bagget seems like another dude that will ride 250's for another 13 years

The 250 nationals are a national championship and you can not point out of them. Wilson could win again and then run 250 outdoors the following year if he wanted to.

Funny...I can't picture Bagget on a 450 either.

this just proves he knows he's not tough enough to ride a big bike over here in the heat. he's probably the most talented rider around but....million dollar talent, ten cent brain!!

Perfect! We need some entertainment before A1, bring back GoRide and the drama! Besides, I wanna see the CP377 tramp stamp he should be sporting by now.

He can ride rings around America's best and look so smooth he's out for a trail ride.

Christophe's a genuine threat whatever he ride's!
Frankly, Rob, post-Mitch, Rick has described his actual performance more acurately than you have.

Awesome talent; if his motivation matches it, it'll be a treat for the fans.

I think he is.
In my opinion Pourcel has the best line selection of any MX'er, ever.
I know thats a big call, but I think after his injury he really had to reassess how he rode the bike, this made him the most calculated for both lines and energy use / riding technique.
The guy is an absolute doctor.

I think he could well be in with a great chance of the title,on a KX 250f I'd say even better chance though

Pretty sure his Spinal Cord Injury that was pretty horiffic left some of his nervous system damaged, heat regulation is a problem hence the 2nd Moto syndrome.

When the core body temperature goes up the autonomic nervous system kicks in to combat it via alterations in blood flow and regulatory sweating,if the system is damaged you can imagine the implications in trying to keep the temp down, returning the body to its normal temperature, oxygen starves muscles too and recovery takes longer. The lack of sweating means replacement with cool temperature fluids is not as possible either, the whole thing is a total nitemare,I have SCI at C6/7 and can safely say it's a major pain in the ass, cold weather equally the same

Is this a Valli effort alone or is this Star-Valli and he'd be teammates with Webb and Martin?Unsure

Over/under on how many motos he makes.
I'm going with, "upset with team before the outdoors start and never makes one."

The report said Chris would be on a "factory bike", which would mean to me that it is a total factory support bike with works suspension & a lot of special YMC (if there us still such an animal) parts for the motor. I don't think Webb & Martin are on pure factory Yamaha equipment, are they? Maybe Valli is simply supplying the support for Yamaha in this, and not teamed with Rockstar.

Yeah...everybody (including me) has bashed CP for perhaps being a little full of himself in his negotiating a ride in the US a while back. It seems as if a trip back to the GP's and his lack of real success there has mellowed him a bit. Great to see he's hooked up with a team like Valli that has the experience, connections and financing to support him. And, the bike will surely be a good one being factory and all. I'm pretty sure that, unless Baggett is healed 100% and gets his El Chuppacabra mojo back...it'll be a Musquin, Pourcel & Wilson show outdoors for 2014. It ought to be as epic as the 450's!
I don't think that's the battle that we'll see up front, way too many young guns to push that battle back a few spots. They all could win a moto every now and again but on a consistent basis I think they'll be off the mark just slightly
