Have any of you ever raced indoors? Aggressive passes are the only way to get it done. IMO there is no need for Trey to seek out any "payback"...he left the inside open, and Barcia saw an opportunity. Sadly for Trey he had to settle for seconds on the Bercy sluts...

Yes I'm sure alot of us have raced indoors. I know I have. That's mostly what I do considering it snows here 7 months out of the year. But if you really think that was just aggressive that's idiotic. There is a huge difference between aggressive and dirty. You can be aggressive and cut off somebody's line and not give them room. But to come into the corner completely straight like that and intentionally hit him is bullshit

Pay-Back is a bitch...especially when A-1 gets here.
x2!....a block pass is supposed to make you check up and lose the spot. Not slam your way into the lead. As someone said earlier, Trey is lucky he didn't hurt his leg, or go over the backside of the berm. Barcia is a wicked rider when he rides clean, not so much when he slams people. It's so funny when he turns into Whiney Mc. Whinerson when someone bambam's his ass. He can dish it, but can't take it very well.

I don't think this is that bad, sure it's his teammate, so maybe that wasn't needed.

But Barcia is a cry baby, I can't really stand the guy and I applauded when Mookie gave him some of his own medicine.

I've watched it a bunch more, looks to be just an aggressive pass. I am not seeing where he came in straight and he could have broke a leg? He took the line away and both riders stayed up. Not the cleanest, but by no means dirty

A perfect block pass involves no contact.
type the words "ricky carmichael pass" into youtube search. he is considered the greatest (although i think joel robert would have roosted him good).

anyway, you might note that mr. carmichael, at times, punted the f outta anyone in his way. far more contact than young barcia.

Someone needs to go in and break his leg. Give me shit for saying that, but it's clear he doesn't get it and maybe missing a year because of crap like this would make him understand.

That's just my opinion.

Not trying I be a dick but are you blind barcia came into thAt corner totally straight. Do I think trey was in danger if breaking a leg. Not that's a bit excessive. But the only reason barcia even made the corner was cause he used trey as a wall. And the only reason trey didn't go down was cause hi hit the outside wall. Ya trey wasn't taking the corner on the inside to protect I will give you that. But watch it again an look at barcias entry angle he can into the corner with absolutely every intent to hit trey.

Let him who is without sin, cast the first stone. I'm thinking of course of a nice little pass Trey put on Ryan Villopoto a few years ago at St. Louis.

I have more of an issue with a retaliatory attitude (putting someone one the ground) than I do with the pass that Justin Barcia made on his team mate, Trey Canard.

There was nothing wrong with that pass at all, and I highly doubt Trey will be focusing on "payback" when A-1 rolls around.

It was the last lap, in the last turn and they were going for the win. They have big money on line, regardless if it is an off season race, I think anyone would go for that pass. I don't understand why people have such a problem with Barcia. He is aggressive, and even though he's put people on the ground, I can't think of a pass that he completely punted someone, or seriously injured anyone.
It was not the last lap.

It wasn't the last lap. There were 3 laps to go when it happened.

EDIT: Someone beat me to it. There's a picture above.

Look at the photo, Trey was actually trying to cut down and not stay wide. Yes Justin was aggressive but by Trey cutting down out of the outside line it helped cause the contact. No harm no foul.

Last year? Try the '11 season.

I think in the moment there were some unhappy feelings. They're over it. This was after the main on Sunday night.

You can use whatever real word you want over my opinion, but it is a bit ironic to use stupidest in that context.
In this sport you police yourself. If you have a rider that constantly takes people out, slams them etc, and then cries and screams he'll be getting someone back like Malcom Stewart back for doing the same thing what do you do as a rider? What would the older generation do about it?

I don't see them putting up with someone like that.

sorry but when was this pass called a block pass , where is the block bit , thats a slam , if i was the honda manager i d be pissed , it could of endded a lot worse than it did , for a race that does nt matter , if u look at the first race there was a time were trey could of took barica front wheel , going into the joker lane , (which made no sence cause you did nt lose any time doing it ) trey has to much class , a lot of other rider s would of decked barica , last week when he was a big baby like always , when trey bet him and would nt stop to shake his hand when trey had it out , love aggressive racing but , there s dirty too ,that pass i was borderline dirty , be diff on the last lap of A1 ,

I was just joking around about the "dumbest" word. And I agree I mean you shouldn't cry and whine about it if you do it yourself an your shouldn't threaten the whole "i will get you back thing" to the public. It makes you look like a whiner.
