Wel, judging by this, the Gariboldi Honda team are wondering what happened too...

I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation.

This past Monday night/early morning I was at my night job waiting tables on The Sunset Strip and I sat a table of 3. It was 2 men and a woman. Typically Monday nights are slow, but that particular night it was busier than normal. It might have been because Steel Panther had performed down the street @ The House of Blouse and Slayer played The Palladium.

Anyway, one of the guys at the table had a case on his phone that I vaguely recognized, but I didn't think much of it. They sat, ate, drank a little before moving to the bar around last call for alcohol. One of the guys started talking about the logo on the phone, Arma Energy. I asked him if he was with or worked for Arma. He said "Yeah", and I commented that they sponsored or used to sponsor a rider I am a fan of, Jason Lawrence. He lit up, probably surprised that me, some random Black guy wearing a pink shirt totally knew who Jason was. I said, "You must be Scott".

We chatted for a bit. I even went downstairs to my car to get my portable charger so he could charge his phone so he could show me some MX photos he had of Jason.

I told him about watching Jason battle with Dungey and Josh Grant @ Budd's in '07. Scott knew exactly the race I was talking about. He also shared some other funny stories about Jason. Dude is a true wild child through and through.

The last thing he said before leaving was that he was supposed to be going to Italy for a race over the weekend, but seemed doubtful that he could actually get Jason to show up.

I guess he was right.

Oh yeah, 5-10 minutes later Scott came back and gave me a 6-pack of Arma Energy and a bunch of stickers.

I never know who I'm going to run into on The Strip...

The fact that he has a criminal record would severely hamper his ability to travel outside the country I would think.

Smile Laughing Woohoo Silly Huh

I'd love to see Jason show up somewhere and race if he actually put in a dedicated effort. I'd pay to watch. But in reality, anyone who spends their time and money putting something together for that brain dead idiot has to be a little off kilter themselves.

Heard he was supposed to be in Spain testing the new Bultaco but somehow ended up in Bulgaria.

I don't have a criminal record myself, but I'm curious, does having one mean you can't travel abroad? At all? Sounds extreme if it's just that simple.

the only thing sad about this is that people keep getting burned trying to offer him another chance...

Anyone ever think that Scott might be the father that wants his son to do well. Setting up these rides and opportunities for Jason that he's just not ready to take? I'd be stoked to see that kid racing again, but in the mean time and least he's having a damn good time on a bike.

At this point, it's your own damn fault if you believe him. They burnt themselves.

Nope. The only felonies that keep you from a passport are international drug trafficking crimes. Once you kill your number you can get a us passport.

What I cannot believe is the cult of personality this jackhandle has created. He has burned so many bridges and apparently still thinks he is some big deal...sheesh!! To me he's just a kid who wasted the opportunities given to him because of God-given talent, and still thinks the world owes him a freaking living. Sad story.

thanks for correcting my post. I hate when that happens.

you signed off with "lol Moran". Is that your name or did you mean moron meaning, " a person affected with mild mental retardation".

I bet you hate it when that happens.

I hate being an outsider.

Back to topic... It seems as though lots of folks around here loathe J Law. He brings a lot of drama to motocross and people like drama. FYI: I could care less.

I'm not a fan of the kind of people who constantly back out of commitments as jlaw has. If you don't want to race, fine but stop commiting to do so with different teams.

Thankfully this should be the end of J-Law's big return that never happened. Go away dude and take your ball licking fans with you, it was fun to watch your train wreck of a career.
