Been following this kid since before he got the Pro Circuit support on 80s.

What can we expect from the kid in 2014? ive got to be honest, i really thought he was going to explode into the pro ranks like RC & JS did, pretty much straight away. I'm not saying he has'nt done well, far from it but i just thought he would instantly be upfront.

Will 2014 see AC find his feet and be a contender....

A growth spurt over the next few months will be the key if you ask me, after all he has the best 250f possible between his legs to contend with.

I thought he did just as good if not better than RC in his first few races? Right? Didn't he get a 3rd? Right? Right?

Not sure how a growth spurt would help. Carmichael and Stewart are both really short. Hell, McGrath isn't the tallest guy either. Villopoto is short as well...

he was hauling ass at the Utah round, look for him to be an instant threat especially in supercross 2014

nope, i recall rc in 1997 (correct me if im wrong) following KDub around in moto one at his debut, then in moto 2, doing the same and then easily taking the lead and winning.

I understand AC has done very well, just up and down. Hell its a message board, where we can debate.

p.s Ricky was thick sett, james was quite built, AC is a streak of piss.

no offence AC, just making a point

I think moving up this year was a bit early, but I think he learned A LOT by doing so. I expect we'll see him up front a lot more in 2014.

I thought maybe he was thrown into the mix too early, but he sure isn't intimidated by anybody at all. I look for him to be a real podium threat outdoors. Supercross...I dunno.

RC went 16-6 in his first race, first moto he went down right away and clawed back otherwise he would have been higher than 8th O/A. He had top 5 speed in his first race. Then in Gainsville his second MX race he was the second fastest guy there but won the O/A due to Lamson being sick.

AC is not near were RC was off the bat..... was very impressive in UTAH though which is what I and I am sure he expects from his self.

RC did not battle K-dub in 96, it was all in 97 for his 125MX days.

remember,it wasn't until tail end of September till he felt healed from that food issue.certain levels not up to spec. in his body chemicals.iron, I I recall.
plus, he has a top notch trainer that's working him into what all you guys want to see out of him.
stay tuned, be patient!

I remember watching him bltz the Kawasaki supercoss whoops on his 80 and thinking holy heck! Outdors is taxing in sooo man ways. I suspect if he can get good jumps in sx and sprint the course like the rest he will do much better. my 2 cents.

Not sure how he is "a streak of piss." Looks a lot like the #167 on the splitfire kawasaki. I feel like he will be the next RV.
10/7/2013 6:51pm
If he keeps riding and training with RV, he'll be the next one. Oh wait, look at weimer....
I like the kid but I see another damon bradshaw in the making. Unless he can turn it around, just a lot of hype, maybe too much.

Have to agree 100% also he is young and his body is still developing on top of that going right from the minis to the pro ranks is a huge step. Look at the riders that have made the step from minis to Ponca/Loretta Lynn's to the pros. Most of them struggle at first and some struggle for ever.

His ride at the Utah round showed us a preview of coming attractions.

Lol are you serious? Have you listened to this kids interviews or know anything about him?

I predict he will be a podium threat in outdoors, and depending which coast he races sx, possibly a threat for the win.

SX just needs to start. I'm ready to see how all this speculation plays out. And secondly I'm ready to see some racing.

I was surprised that he wasn't out front from the start also. I thought he was going to blitz the field like Bubba. The food poisoning probably set him back quite a bit.

Fastest rider to ever ride a 125. Not really a fair comparison.

Not only comparing JS7 to AC292, but also comparing a 125T to a 250F.

AC292 is going to be on the gas SX 2014. I expect him to race to East so he can gain more weight (muscle) and strength.
