I've had to do something like that before......but it was a dead hooker's body, not a bike.

Been there, done that. Always a little bit of an adrenaline rush sneaking bikes in. What was plan B if they caught you?

I have taken my bikes into several hotels over the years. The only time I thought I was going to have a problem was when a friend of mine fired up his bike inside the room after he rebuilt the top end. Turned out the hotel manager could care less.

Meh, used to do that all the time. Had four bikes in a room one time with everyone changing gear oil and cleaning filters.

Nice. Never stayed there as I always made the drive in the morning to race at Gallup.

The worst experience of bringing a vehicle into a room was in T or C, NM when I rented out a room to gut out a jet ski hull and do some emergency fiberglass work the night before a race. The room was so full of fumes I ended up sleeping in the parking lot in my race van while the repair work cured over night.

I used to live in the Canton Mill Lofts & I would take my street bike in everyday. In a side door, down a few hallways & into my apt. My apt was on the "basement" floor. So to get it into the door I had to ride/roll in down a hill that was a wood chip bed. It had stairs on both sides, but there was no way is was going down stairs. It was always a bit gamey getting it back up. Street bike just does not feel right on wood chips going up hill w/ no running start & a curb & sidewalk at the top!

1980's we use to run CMC GSN's at Lake Madera MX Track in Madera, CA. Let's just say the Madera Valley Inn was a 5 or 6 story hotel with an elevator and there were plenty of bikes in the elevators there, I do have pics.

I have been caught doing that a few times. Usually I just try to flip them a twenty and they act like they never saw it. You can get alot of people to do a lot of things for $20.

I know the HOWARD JOHNSON's in Lakewood, Co wasn't real happy about finding me in the bath tub with a RM250 frame, but I did put towels down not to scratch the tub. (didn't find any bad welds or breaks).
