I really never wanted to even think about running anything other than Bridgestones, but I was pretty impressed with these after hearing mixed reviews. The rubber was fresh, no harder to install with some irons than anything else AND I honestly haven't sacrificed any noticeable amount of traction. Prob worth checking out!

My buddy bought a set. The tiires that he got had no sidewall, they were like marshmallow and I was able to mount them with my hands. That part was fun, but out on the track they handle like a tire that has no sidewall, I think that running more tire pressure would help.

I bought the Dunlop 756 copy of the Artrax, which is the MX Pro front and rear. They felt like any other tire and mounted up like it. Honestly on track I don't feel any different from a name brand tire. I'm not any less confident in these things than I am a Dunlop, and I've got about 5 rides on them now. Wear rate is excellent, and so far nothing is coming apart at the seams. I'm not exactly slow or kind to them either.

I certainly don't have the sidewall issue mentioned above, but that was probably a different type of tire they offered.

The video is useless. And the music sucks. Hope that's no reflection on the tires....

Here's my set in use, this was my 1st ride on them. I'm just cruising around here but I feel comfortable pushing them pretty hard. I'm not trying to pitch them here or anything, name brand is always going to be better. But at $90 a set I had to at least give it a shot.

I might have to try these out, it's not much of an investment anyways.

I have a full day of motos in on my set so far. I checked them out, I was curious to see how bad they wore or chunked. They look fresh in comparison to some of the Dunlops I've had in the past. The track was a clay/dirt mix, not much for rocks but turns to hard pack by the afternoon. I can't justify going back to tire that is double the price so far.

Which model would be best if I usually run Geomax MX51's?

Ever since the departure of the 756's I've gone to buying whatever was a good deal. I loved those tires. They didn't necessarily wear the best, but I thought the performance was unmatched. I think I'm gonna have to give these clones a shot. The fact that they are cheap is a bonus.

I ran the Dunlop 755's and 756's for ever and loved them. When everyone went to the Geomax 's I hated them. I tried the Maxxis SX tires and they were decent. I am now on the stockers with my CRF but still haven't found anything like the old 755's.

To be honest I would have never bought these tires with my own money before having ridden them. With working in the industry I have always gotten great deals on my tire of choice which are the Bridgestone 403/404's. After having the chance to ride with them I will say you absolutely cannot go wrong for the money. They hooked up well, mounted just fine with soapy water, although i will say the sand/mud tires ( SX2 Model) were stiffer than the others but still not difficult to mount. For the photo shoot i was running the SX2 model on what is typically a hardpack track so i was skeptical at first and expected cracked knobs and chunking with it being the sand/mud/soft terrain tire. They did work well, and i dont have any complaints. After a couple days of riding they are no worse for wear than the Bridgestones. I was truly pleasantly surprised and at half the cost of regular tires, I have a set on the way to mount up on the 125, for the 125 Dream Race at Washougal in 2 weeks.

Here is a list of the tires for certain terrains. I will be running the MX Pro model on my 125 at the Dream Race and will give you guys a review when i am done if you like.

Sand/Mud/Soft : SX2
Intermediate : MX Pro
Intermediate/hard : SX1
Offroad : SE3

I'm definitely interested in trying a set. Thanks for the info on terrain types.

I picked up a set after seeing this post and thought for $85, can't go wrong even if they are junk.
Did a weekend of riding on them at Glen Helen and here are my thoughts...

Tires mounted up piece of cake with some soapy water, no issues there and the bead was easy to set.
To start, I have never ridden Glen Helen until this weekend with the Artrax tires, so I can't compare exactly how it feels to Dunlop tires. The rear tires feels like dunlop. No complaints there. Ran around 12psi in the rear. No pinched tubes and after three days of riding the tires still looks great.
The front tire is a different story. It felt like I could not get the front end to bite in a corner. It would want to push really bad in the loose flat corners, want to jump out of ruts, and I was just fighting to keep that front-end underneath me. Someone mentioned that the Artrax's have a softside wall, so I upped my PSI to 14lbs, and slowed down my rebound on the forks a few clicks to get the front end to settle better. That helped a bit, but still had to fight the front-end through ruts and flat corners.

I'll have to head out to my local AZ track where I've spun hundreds of laps to see how the tires feel there. It could be I am not used to Glen Helen dirt. Will report back later.

I purchased a set of Artrax SE3 intermediate tires. Price is awesome compared to the Big names.
They went on easy.
Performance is just as good and the Big names in my opinion. I am a intermediate level rider, The tires are on a 13/KTM 450 with 6 rides on them and they look good. No chunking or nobs ripping off.

My only problem is the 110-90-19 rear looks like a 100-90-19! It is narrow when compared to the Big names 110-90-19.
Has anyone come across this?

While not Artrax, I bought a set of cheap Sedona tires from cycle gear and noticed the rear 110/90 looked like a narrower 100/90 as well. Sedona tires are very heavy, but seemed to wear well. Probably ok for someone just bashing around in the woods or something, but I wouldn't buy those again. Also they were very hard to get on and off.

I tried a rear sedona on a '06 yz 125. After almost crashing because it would get sideways off big jumps, I took that sucker right off. Havn't tried any non-name since. The b-stone is the way to go, as far as I know, hate the dunlops.

I miss the 756, ran them for yearsSad . Since then I have been running Michelin Starcross MH3 and really like them. Except they have got super expensive. Recently I bought a set of Kenda Washougal sticky's and at almost half the cost they are an excellent choice. I'm also happy with their wear/grip.

I've tried cheap tires and in my opinion, you definitely get what you pay for. The tires are the most important part on the bike and I'm not going to skimp on that part but that's just me. I don't like breaking bones.

you gotta be getting hooked up to get michelins for almost the same price unless im misunderstanding you.

comparable fronts are close to $40 cheaper and rears are about $30 less vs bridgestones or michelins...ive never used the artrax tires and probably wont, but im not sure you can argue cost savings for the average joe.

I got a deal thru duro tires last year ran them all year on my two stroke I was literally amazed at how long they lasted while working pretty decent as well there 110 was a true 110 too, I haven't tried them on my new 450 yet cause they've been a pain to try get ahold of lately .

So i got a fullbore 120/80-19 for my 450 cause I can get those cheap too and have two rides on it still looks new and works pretty decent on hard pack i can tell it's not great one thing is it's closer to a 110 width once mounted then a 120 its fine though.
