Why do you think reed sez LB owes him money? Riding a scooter he wasn't supposed to riding at the time.

Doubt it is the bike.......old age?

Great that he is still racing, but he needs to mentor a young fearless animal.

His choice, but I would put the fat section of the wallet away.

I have to agree...

Reed has really aged after his last injury. He dosen't even have the same riding style anymore. It dosen't matter what bike he rides in 2014 . He will not win anymore.

He probably will be a top 5 guy in supercross in some races but outdoors seems fenito. Top 10 at best.

It seems that when Windham left, Reed took some mental beating aswell. Knowing that he now is the oldest top racer.

I think Reed should pack his bag and move on. He has had a great career. Let it go Reedy while you still healthy !
I'm a fan and love seeing Reed ride when he is on top, but it hurts seeing him ride like he has in 2013.

I rather watch videos of old races than watch Reed barely make top 10 !

Even if Reed should come back as a top 3 guy, he then has to go over his limits. And that's when he usually gets hurt ! (statistically). Reed is all about comfort.

Who started this thread knowing that Rockstar dropped Suzuki... Because Suzuki wasn't giving them any support for NON-FACTORY parts... And knowing that Reed wants 1 if not 2 factory bikes.

Really?

If that were completely true then the Rockstar team wouldn't be featured on Suzuki's website.

Suzuki pulled the teams support after 2011. Rockstar stayed the course in 2012 & 2013 hoping Suzuki would get back behind the program. When they did not the team switched to KTM.

Suzuki's Japanese management has always seemed clueless, They let Decoster and Dungey leave and then only offered them big dollars to re-sign after they had signed with KTM.

With the money they are probably paying Stewart, probably not much left for anyone else.

It seems that the Japanese mfrs are being schooled by KTM on how to sell off road motorcycles - Give the customers what they want and have a strong presence in racing.

there's no room for profit if they build and lease bikes like ktm and honda are ?

if a team came to them of 22's caliber,

surely zook could make it happen if the team / sponsors provided $ for bikes?

I know thats probably cr's last resort... but....

Does he get to keep the Grocery cart?

They filed for bq - restructuring. Suzuki is doing its best under the circumstances

I've got news for you guys that I was surprised to hear myself. Reed has healthy, big-buck offers from more than one factory already on the table...and this was from a solid source.

My money is on Yamaha and Suzuki

* KTM has Dungey, Millsaps, KROC, and Shorty
* Honda has Barcia, Canard - Geico Honda with Hahn and Tomac
* Kawaski has Weimer, Poto, and Wilson

based on how suzuki has let it all go over the last few years , i only see wishful thinking inside this thread , although i can see yamaha attempting a stronger comeback

I remember reading that also, but it doesn't really jive with the team being featured on Suzuki's website, though. I don't doubt that the team is not getting "works" parts, but there must be something being exchanged for Suzuki to be able to market their team in that manner.

Reed's a marketable rider. Simple really. He has a huge fan base and is attracting more every day. Sponsors will want a piece of that. They aren't looking for a championship, they'll want a top 5 guy for exposure, but his fan base is the key.

Hope he sticks it out for another two years and hangs it up healthy and happy.

Evidenced by all these two two to threads, he is worth more in Public Relations terms to a brand them most guys finishing in the top ten. He is an ICON at this point. I agree he is not going to win again, but he is now where windham was last year. Depends on how he views the risk........

Nobody knows where he is going or on what bike. He doesn't even know. Only one thing is for sure. This is his legacy brand.....RC suzuki, MC Honda, JE kawasaki, etc.........Those big offers, if they are on the table, are for his legacy, not for what he is gonna do next year.....What he can do for the brand for the next 10-20 years...........The only other thing for sure is it will NOT be Kawasaki....LOL

While Reed is certainly the oldest top pro I'd be a fool to say he is out of the running for 2014. This has happened to him at least 3-5 times already in his career and yet he bounces back every time. Given time to get healthy & sort out what ever bike he is riding, plus motivated by a bad season / loyalty to his team I would never bet against him.

Read the start to this frigging thread shessshhh It did not say 22 is GOING to Suzuki, it says WILL they go to Suzuki now that Rockstar has gone to KTM...FFS It was opening up a conversation about the possibility of going to Suzuki not saying that 22 is categorically going to them.

If Chad Reed was going to ride a Suzuki, which Suzuki would he ride when he rides a Suzuki?

If Chad Reed went to a Suzuki Team, which Suzuki Team would Chad Reed go to?

If Chad Reed went to a Team that had the Money to Hire him, what Team would that be?

WWCD?

WWRD?

WWKD?

I'm jus' guessin', tho.

If indeed they could get a factory bike for Chad, then I am wondering if he will team up with RCH, becomes RCH22? or RCH Two Two? or Two Two RCH? lol but if the sotry is true that more than one factory has given Chad offers then that makes things interesting...

I think one would def. be Yamaha but what is the other? Also could Honda be still in the mix?

Why not just leave it simple... Reed / Carmichael / Hart = RCH
