Ok, so we have a good mix of AMA riders racing at the Motocross of Nations. Four from the top five in the 450cc class and two from the Lite class. Who will finish where.
Stewart versus Philippaerts = Stewart
Ferry versus Ramon = Ramon
Byrne versus Coppins = Coppins
Cooper versus De Dycker or Baragan = De Dycker
Villopoto versus Rattray = Villopoto
Metcalfe versus Simpson = Simpson
FIM wins hands down, hahahaha. Or I look like a dick again.

Don't you have moto boards to go fishing on over there?
I think that you are wrong about Ferry and Cooper. We will see pretty soon. Anyway, MXDN is a team event, so individual results only matter as it affects the team results. When it comes to teams, the USA has everyone covered.
But it's all good mate, it's been fun. Gotta go now.
I'm seeing 1-1-2-2-?-? (3-4 perhaps?) for the USA team.

OK I forgot Dungey he stept it up to.
So why judge him for 1 bad race. having a bad day happens to the best. look at JS in the SX series this year. He had bad days.
5 ass whoopings and a win for AC with an Asterick.
Stewart smoked Everts in the qualifying race
moto 1 he ran into Everts back day so I don't know who would have won that.
moto 2 Everts spanked Stewart.
Everts and Stewart both beat RV when they raced him. RV beat RC at the desnations.
RC smoked Everts everytime except the time RC was on a 125 in the mud and Bubba outdoors. Bubba beat RC indoors the majority of the time.
David knight beat Everts in that Beach race(I forget the name)
I beat my woods racing buddy who fixes his bike to look like David Knight's on MX Unleashed and the A.I. RV and Bubba. Just thought I would clear up who is the fastest.

btw, isn't Simpson just out of collarbone surgery? Do you thing he can really beat Metty?
Just a bit of fun, glad to see nobody is taking this too seriously.
Geoff
Well obviously it shouldn't.... the whole asterisk thing for crashing is ridiculous... crashing is part of racing.
so don't give AC one if you aren't going to give RV one. It's 3-1 RV against AC... nothing more, nothing less.
just like it's Everts 2 - 0 Stewart
i think MX3 will be a VERY interesting class with Ferry, Simpson, Ramon and Metcalfe as i think Ramon and Simpson have improved this year... whether they have improved enough to run the same level of ferry is something that'll be decided in 5 weeks time
1) It is irrelevant both from a racing and business stand point. Motocross is an individual sport and it exists mostly to promote the sales of manufacturers' products (bikes, fuel and gear), hence the effort of a national team is irrelevant to the 2 key drivers of our sport.
2) The internationalization of the sport. Nowadays professional motocross is a very international sport as there are several series in which pros from any country can race against each other. It is a great idea to support international one-event series where amateur riders from different countries can compete against each other, but at professional level there is not need for this type of events anymore.
3) The results of the MXdN do not mean anything. Because of its population and size of the off road market, the US have the best chance to field competitive teams and random events such as an engine failure or a major crash at the first turn can jeopardize any team's performance. In light of last year MXdN, when Chile finished 18th and Australia finished 20th, should we consider Chile a country with a stronger motocross school/ industry than Australia?
Suggest to Mr. Luongo to re establish the "Masters of Motocross". He and DC should cooperate to have an event featuring the best 2 riders for manufacturer in each class in each major series [US supercross+ nationals (so that you incentive riders to ride both classes) and World Championship] and 1 rider per manufacturer in each class racing the Australia/ New Zealand series and the Japan series. One year the race is held in Europe, one in year in the US. Add a significant purse and you have THE MX EVENT.
i can't believe you are serious... lol
JK,
But thanks for trying to get our guys fired up.
