Are these guys the same guys who are passed out drunk during the motos? Do they wake up just to go blast these things during the podium interviews. Someone needs to cram these air horns up their asses. I wish they would ban those stupid things. They were so loud that Dungey couldn't even concentrate while answering a question.

Running out of thing to complain about? Still better than a chain saw engine.....

I'd rather a chainsaw engine.

And I try not to complain very often. You can check my history to confirm that.

I loved Dungey's reaction: "...wow!"
He was probably thinking, "STFU, I'm trying to do an interview here!!!" It's all good though. Loud fans are the best.

Always been part of moto. This ain't the PGA. However, they should control their intoxicated selves for the interviews. It's all good though.

Yea, I'm sure he was bummed to have that many people yelling and cheering for him. I bet that interview meant more than anything to him..

Luckily his tablecloths were still in site when he got back, or this thread would make it to 15 pages too.

Looks like we need a PGA tour "quiet please" sign to hold up during interviews. Jesusfuckinchrist.

I noticed them to and was thinking damn, that's kind of annoying during his podium interview. Probably some young punk RV fans lol!

I guess the air horns are a mild complaint in the grand scheme of things. But I just imagine a thousand fans hanging out and some idiot behind them blasting off some concussion grenade powered air horn.

Not looking for it to be the PGA, but I do enjoy listening to Dungey's podium interviews in particular.

Sorry bud! Forgot F1... Although, can you even hear them at a F1 or MotoGP race?

The odd one air horn can be annoying but there are few moments in Motocross/Motorsport quite like the sound of thousands of air horns all being blasted at once. Two stroke engine noises and air horns formed the backing track of pretty much every British Motocross GPs of the 1990s. They created an unforgettable, spine tingling atmosphere which is lacking at modern GP's. The MXdN is the only race that gets close these days, although the French GP at Ernee this year looked pretty loud!

Us Brits love an air horn. Watch 0.30 into this video...

Dungey couldn't do a interview if it was completely silent.
Poor fella suffers from A.D.D. or something.

I still dig a good old cowbell................... Nothing like hanging over the fence, screaming at the top of your lungs and flailing away with a big ol' cowbell when you're cheering on your favorite rider.

But then again I am kinda old.
