come on, man, I think you just don't like Reed. maybe, huh? Wink

I'm going to strop arguing and wave the white flag. You guys are right, Reed doesn't have a reputation for blaming his problems on the bike.

Yeah you're right, all he did was bitch about his Suzuki. *eyeroll*

It was fairly obvious to all that Reedy was trying to do exactly what he did, let his results do the talking and get some factory support.

If they couldn't/wouldn't support him in 2010, because of financial reasons, why would he set up his own effort on that same brand?!

Yamaha and Kawi weren't viable options because of the bike, do you think Chad is silly?

To be fair, he:
• Said he loved his 01 factory Kawi in GPs
• Said he'd rather be on the 250 class, and that having never ridden a 125/250f, he wasn't comfortable on his 02 troy bike...
• He loved his 03-04 YZ 250s, said he had the best bike all the time
• He bitched about his 05 YZ250, because of the frame. Same thing all the factory yamaha guys said
• He didn't say much about his 06-07 YZ450fs, but they weren't loved by others
• He loved his 08 bike, him and GL were crapping on about it, tho the carb hurt him
• He raved about his RMZ in 09
• He said he didn't gel with the Kawi, didn't say it was rubbish
• 11 & 12 Honda told everyone it was the best, so much so he based his team on
• 13 has basically said he can't get front end feeling, with the introduction of the air fork - And Barcia has said the same.

I'd say that's a pretty ok record.

To me.....he looks like a guy riding a bike he simply can not stand....and just wants to finish the season. Weather it's the forks , the frame geometry , just the overall feel of the 13' bike....I am not sure....but he aint digging it.

I would bet that he is NOT on a factory Honda for SX in 2014. And to me it looks like a blue bike in his future. That's what I "think" anyways.
Should be about their time in the rotation

If I'm Yamaha brass and Chad is riding for me next year, I'm feeling a bit nervous.

Reed is not done yet. This is just a transition getting back from injury. Two years ago he was showing everyone the short way around including the Ryan's. You don't loose your skill and speed like that in one or two seasons. He is not a roll around and take 15th place kinda guy. He doesn't need the money and if he thought for a second he couldn't compete at the top again there is no way he would be out there. It takes time to come back from that kind of injury and time off at that level. A season of getting back is not too much to ask for...

I love that Reed is out there gutting it out, but I just don't ever see him ever being on the top step of the podium again. I think a string of top 5's would be a solid finish for Reed this season. The Ryan's are literally on another level than anyone and I have a hard time seeing anyone getting a win against these too.

Two major getoffs in 6 months doesn't help.

I love CR22 BTW, so much in fact that I lost £50 on the fu**er this weekend as I was sure he was back on it, I like most would love to see him back to 09 glory when he gambled himself on the Yellow - good times.

Hey - we all get slower as we get older, no shame, end of.

I read what Reedy said in an interview a while back, during the SX season that there were some "personal things" going on, and he didn't feel like discussing them. Doesn't really sound like a virus to me...or that he hates the bike.

Barcia will beat the "Ryan's" !!! And anyone who likes seeing these two tards win all the time doesn't like racing. It hurts the sport when only one or two guys win everything. The two Ryan's are so nice to each other is sick. Bring back the Bradshaw days!!!!

It was nice to see Chad fighting inside top 10 in first moto. He's coming back for sure! Top 8 in both motos next weekend!

It's a virus, Reed has said he's not been able to train because of it.

I'd like to see Reed back to his old self. Purely out of curiosity, what kind of mystery virus keeps a guy from training for SO long? Don't say EBV because that shit was the excuse for everyone a decade ago and there's no reason for him not to come out with that if that was the case.

No kicking here, I'd like to see him winning more than anyone else on the line. Just pointing out the virus bit sounded like it was bs. Above post sounds like it may be a partial reason for his struggling. He does something to benefit his family in preparation for the "worst case scenario" and the state tries to fuck him, great job Florida.

In start of the 2nd moto Chad crashed on the start and my son ran Chads bike over. The pack had a 6 or 7 second lead on him. Chad got up from last place and blew thru the pack. His determination was crazy!
Two starts for Joey and 2 crashes. Rough weekend. Only good thing was he can get out with the top guys on a stock 450 Smile
