not sure what he is going to say but basically u need to eat a well balanced meal plan, be consistent with your workouts, stay away from injuries, and get your test and estrogen levels and keep them in "balance".
da fuck?!
ugh boy moto board fitness talk.
personally, i think lean and strong/ fit is the optimal build for moto.
so kettlebells, and bodyweight work (pushups, pullups, dips) with extremely minimal rest is the best way to improve performance.
........
gaining weight is a different story.
diet changes and focusing on major compound excercies (ie bang for buck (squat deadlift clean, military press etc)). Lift heavy, eat big and you'll put on mass. Get your sleep and drink your milk (rippetoe)
high weight/low reps
eat protein (you weigh 160? take AT LEAST 160 g of protein a day). 200-220 would be better. Eat your fruits and vegetable and drink at least a gallon a day of water.
Creatine/ protein powders, and other supplements will help. I personally recommend Force Factor as a pre workout supplement, especially if you are working arms or chest.

BTW, you have seen the chick on the right......who is it?
I did all the above, and at 45 years old sport a six pack, which I don't think I ever had before in my life. Other than maybe when I was 17 or so. I even have better stamina on the bike than I ever remember having.
Dead lifts. So good bro
If you do serious mountain biking, in my opinion, there is no better cardio workout. I'm not talking about fire roads.
I suggest on days that you're lifting weights, that you DON'T do medium to long cardio workouts just before. You won't have the energy to push as hard as you need to. It's best to separate cardio and weights to different parts of the day, so you're rested before you start either.
That said, cardio is important not only because it'll help endurance on the track, but because it'll help you push further in the gym.
When you lift, lift to the point of failure for 3-4 sets of each exercise. When you're able to do 12 or more reps, add 5 lbs the next time.
To cut fat, eat more protein and fat, and keep the carbs down to a minimum. Carbs put on fat, protein and fat do not.
If you get into great shape concerning both cardio and strength, you'll not only have more endurance on the track, you'll feel the best you can feel.
Deadlifts and Squats encourage your body to produce Testosterone, so one or the other MUST be a part of your routine.
That's it for now.
Radical
Case in point.
Marathon runners are not usually muscular, while sprinters are.
If you mountain bike, or run, keep getting faster, work it, and it'll pay off.

Nothing will ever replace seat time. Keep it simple. 80/20 rule. You get 80% of your results from 20% of what you do in lifting. Most routines are to complex.
