We have 925 & 922 there. Where is AC 222?

If Strijbos and Desalle do well maybe AC will be tempted if he thinks he has a shot a winning?

I give major props to Strijbos and Desalle for coming out and doing some racing! Wish this would happen more often.

He can't race, that wouldn't look good if the #1 in the world series gets beat in the Nationals! Hate to say it but its pretty weak that he won't even come over for a off weekend at least once in his whole career.

I thought that Desalle and Strijbos did awesome. Love watching the Euros battle with the Americans today, sure made it fun. Not a big Supercross fan, love to see Supercross cut maybe to eight races. Then during the nationals maybe have 2 World GP. One on the East Coast and one on the West Coast. Would be fun to watch the best Europeans and the best American's going at it. It's just my opinion so don't beat me up too much.

Same reason RV doesn't go to the GP's on off weekends. There's an adjustment period to overcome and you'd have to swallow a lot of pride being the top dog in one arena.

RV was toying with the concept of doing a season or two over there a while ago, I sure hope he makes good on it. I'd be a fan for life.

I thought it was awesome having those two boys over here today! Both rode great and I expect they can do better on a new track like muddy creek.....but we'll see. Really cool seeing a couple new faces out there mixing it up inside the top 10.

Tweet from Kevin Strijbos. Really cool of them to make the trek out here to sample some US soil. Mad props to both he and Da Panda!

@kevinstrijbos I never was so tired after a race then here!! Completly destroyed. :-) so high altitude and so intense racing. Happy to be here!!!

The guy will not ever come over here to race unless it's the mxdn. I don't know why he's so worried about getting hurt if he races in the U.S. He can get hurt the same way or worse practicing. I honestly think it's a pride thing. If 925 & 922 can do it, theirs no reason that 222 to do it.

He is the best in the gp's that's for sure. But he's top 10 in Merica

Don't kid yourself man. AC222 is a class act and fast as hell. He's been handling CD25 and KS22 for the past few years and on a regular basis. He would be battling for some wins and top 5 on a regular basis here. I don't think he's quite on the level of RV.....but i think he would give RD , Stewart and the rest.....fits all day long.

I for one am really glad to see the AMA and GP guys get together more often for some racing. same sport.....but toally different types of tracks and a series. The GP guys....give props where props are due.

Exactly, they did something that they were not "contracted" to do and took the chance to race an AMA national.

Something NONE of the top US riders have done in many years (go race a GP during a break).

They have the exact same issues (contracts, scheduling, travel, injury potential, logistics, $$) yet they made it happen. I am sure they had many people assisting them (team members, Rockstar, etc) but none of that would have mattered unless they WANTED to go race an AMA national.

Congratulations to both of them, they made many new fans today and wishing them even better results next week.

Anyone that says the GP guys are not talented is a moran....

Why should he? Do you fly overseas to go work for minimal pay on long weekends? I am sure earns a great salary where he is, and to come all the way here to chance an injury for a very small payout would be stupid. He has nothing to prove.

Have you seen his girlfriend? I would be staying home too!!!!

You are going to lose this argument.

"Cause he is a racer and wants to be the best in the World. That's why."

You would almost think I was a guy that lives across the pond....I am not. I live here in the good ol' USA and I'm still going to ask you this....hope you come back with a good answer.

WHY.....would you put that kind of a question towards AC222.......and NOT towards our guys like RV , RD , Stewart.....hell , even RC didn't race any friggin' GP's! I'm all for our guys being the fastest and all......but guys like AC222 deserve respect for what they have accomplished over there. What's he got....like 7 world titles? And every time he races against our guys he gives them the race of their lives. Why should he have to come here to prove anything? When none of our guys are going over there?

When was the last time you saw two of our top 3-5 riders in the 450 class....head on over to do a couple GP's for fun? I'll answer it for you.....NEVER! But that is exactly what CD25 and KS22 did today , and are doing it again next weekend.

It's that type of mentality that gets our fellow moto head brothers from across the pond all pissed off....as it should! Show some fucking respect!
