Sound is all jacked up when he starts talking.

Gautier has been a ray of light in this class. Amazing with the depth in MX1 how AC has been able to still put a good sized points lead on everyone so early on. But it's good to see Gautier now taking it to him and keeping things exciting. With that said Paulin needs to start winning both motos imo to really steal the momentum, as it is Tony isn't losing enough yet to cause too much concern. Hard to tell for sure but I think Cairoli is a little sick of the "Nationals" question - I suppose he does get asked it a lot.

As much as I'd love to see Herlings in the US, I'm hoping he stays in the GPs next year and battles Cairoli. They will have some great battles. As for Cairoli in a national, I don't think we will ever see it. His goal is to win the GPs and has no desire to come here. That's why we need to enjoy the MXdN, because it is the only time every year we get to see him compete against the US riders.

I'm a huge fan of Paulin,he's slowly emerging as the real deal,he's made for the 450,and was awesome in Bulgaria, which has always been Desalles playground, the recent tracks might not have been so favourable to AC,4 or 5 other guys regularly posted some great laptimes,Brazil's more man made circuit will be interesting-unless it rains again, that red clay stuff was horrific last year!

Was that a showroom floor stock 450 he was riding?

Think so. Looks like the same track from the Herlings 150 vid. Perhaps a KTM demo week.

AC seems like a good guy. Speaks very good English, I wish I spoke another language like he does. I'm always amazed how many people in Europe speak two, three or four languages.

Cairoli is probably the classiest and best example there is today. Quality individual.

Yeah looks like it maybe the first test of the 2014 range or something,as hartebreak says it looks a standard 450,

Some shocking clips but I'm pretty sure Big Ken is pulling stunts,Herlings and maybe AC are in there..

I think his stance on a few things there would be different if he'd won these last 2 rounds too, like,he might well have put more consideration into doing a National now that gap in the fixtures has opened up with the Mexico GP being cancelled,he's often said he'd really like to do one

I think your right about JH84 and him battling in MX1,who knows, with a few more titles,Villopoto could be joining them in 2015??

Thought this was a cool little promotion for Maggiora that was posted on his facebook page. I don't know who the other two riders are though.

Yeah, it was KTM 2014 media launch in Sardinia, Italy. You can see the Mediterrean sea in the background. I must be somewhere on this track with the fast guys. Cairoli, JH and Big Ken played with the same bike we had. It was quite a humbling experience, as they were litteraly flying around us. Especially Herlings with the 250 2 stroke. Unreal.

I would like to see JH riding a 250SX in a Dutch or Belgian championship race. I think he would still win MX1. Maybe likewise in MX2 on a 125/150 but Coldenhof and Tixier would put up a fight.

Like most, I'd love to see Cairoli come to the US...or at least race here for a season. But, I don't think he gives a hoot about SX or being an SX champion here, neither does he really seem to have his eyes on any title here. He probably makes great money in Europe, and is comfortable with everything there. To pull up and move here, I don't think appeals to him at all. But, I'd love to see him go against Poto and Dungey outdoors! Wow! That would be awesome!

Maybe Herlings will be the next to make the trip over...

Personally I think there's a good chance RV will come to the race the GPs in the not too distant future (2-3 yrs). So if I'm right we may still see an RV vs AC match up yet. I think SX is a non starter for Tony, he was pretty terrible in Bercy couple of years back and the various layouts of that track are probably tame overall compared to a full on AMA SX circuit.

I seriously doubt RV will ever go race the GPs. There's about as much chance as Cairoli coming over to race the Nats.

Did you catch this from last year? Who knows what will happen in a couple of years when his contract is up,This was the second time he's spoken about it whereas Cairoli has only ever said he'd like to race A National, not the series

There's lots of talent coming through too in the US

I think RV was just saying what the fans wanted to hear to be honest; it would look a little disrespectful to say he has no ambition to race in the World Championship, likewise for Tony saying he might race one race/season in the US. They would never say no, but the way I interpret it is as a no.

I can't see either rider ever moving over to the other side of the pond, and who could blame them? All I know is, them (and others) racing in separate championships during the season makes the MXdN all the more special for me!

TC is funny. Is he trying to convince himself that this years World Championship is really that good. The statement that really made me laugh was when he said if you get a mid pack start it is hard to work your way to the front.

A mid pack start puts him in 10th....please TC stay in Europe because a mid pack start in the US Nationals will put him in at least 20th and well if he can not work his way up through 10 guys in front of him forget about making his way to the front when he would have to pass 20 guys.
