FMX is right up Hanny's alley. Party, drink, and don't have to train.

Not sure how good the pay is but the rest of the benefits sound killer.....unless you've chosen Pro Motocross as your line of work.

You must not know any FMX'ers! I know plenty who train! Also isn't party and drink the same thing? There are plenty of MX'ers who do party as well!

FMX guys make money, most MX guys..don't.

Think about it for a second..a pro FMX rider might have 2 bikes and they don't get beat to shit like a pro racers bikes. He gets paid to ride, and paid good at that and their bikes don't need new parts constantly. They get to screw off, nail chicks and have fun.

FMX guys have it figured out.

With the exception for the fact that to win FMX nowadays you have to do death defying (literally) circus tricks. Regardless of if they are getting paid, it isn't as cool as it used to be. For the risks they take, they better be getting paid!

does anyone know what the Xgames pays competitors
I remembered hearing a while ago that a x games gold medal was worth about 15g's. Slightly higher than a SX main event but I bet you can still clear a lot of cheese after all the endorsement deals.

I think it's about 75g's to the winner.

$50K just from ESPN, and I'm sure personal sponsors double that if you're a big name.

Take a look at the video recently posted on the home page featuring Nate Adams. Or how about checking out "full circle" another film about Nate Adams.. Or maybe even a movie called "the hard way" featuring Jeremy Twitch Stenberg... People may not understand why these guys do what they do.. But to say they don't train is ridiculously ignorant. They get injured just as bad and often worse than racers and they come back stronger and better usually. I know that when I used to see Deegan, Faisst, and others at La Fitness that they were definitely not lacking in any ability to train. Sorry for the rant but these guys are capable of doing things on dirt bikes that I appreciate fully and knowing how hard they work, I thought I'd say so.
