There are several of us ProRide members that have contributed to supporting Weston's racing, by pooling our money, selling whatever moto parts, gear, apparel, etc. to help him out. I'm not the book keeper, but I do know that we have raised a few thousand dollars.
BTW langhammx - fun battling with you all at ProRide in MotocrossFantasy.com each week too..
What is this pro ride place you guys speak of? I'd like to get in on helping Weston as well.
Something about that boy of yours Lou. After I met you guys and hung out for a bit......I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather help.
Next, Pro ride doesn't suck, those guys have done a fair amount of fundraising over the years (Rookstool,Pieck, etc) and helped put a west coast deal together for some privateers a season or two ago, even lending out his own personal trailer. If you think you can do better, then step up, if not, shut your mouth.
Finally, 500, guy, put up or shut up. I would bet that you would rather wrench for a guy like WP than some other guy that just rides it out after making the night show. Why do you care what WP did off the track in the pits to HIS bike after a close race like that, its not like you had to wrench on it. If he knew he was on camera and was putting on a show, that's different, but he's no whinny "Kyle Busch" crying to reporters after the race. For whats its worth, that was one of the best sessions of the year in terms of clean back and forth racing.
A true moto Idiot
Pit Row
The reaction to this kind of non-story is far more worrying than Peick kicking his own bike. Pussification at it's finest.
He had no idea or plan for the bike to spin on the stand and then go flying off across the garage to then get wedged between two support beams, a small puppy and that Lil Ol Lady in the wheelchair.
Okay so good for Pro Ride helping Weston, I reacted more to the punk demanding I go there and buy 4 shirts.
We, as a group, have contributed simply because we want to help a guy who we think deserves it. On that note, Brian at Pistonbones.com has gone way above and beyond to convert all our smelly old gear into cash. Louie was off just a little. We're at $7200 as of today. We are currently rallying to pay for Weston's motor that took a crap the other night.
As for the naysayers, 500 guy included, who the hell are you? Why would Weston even acknowledge your existence, much less apologize to you? Why should He, or I, care what a (most likely) 50 yr old fat guy who doesn't even ride has to say about this at all?
As for myself, I walk it and talk it. My son and I race Worcs, and I'm on the bike at least three times per week. It's a huge part of my life, with my 15 y o riding in his first year in Pro 2 Lites this year. We live and breathe this sport, and as such I can relate to Louie. That makes me and others want to help he and Westob fill the gaps. Cash does that best. Join us. Check us out on PR. Or shut your pie hole.
Peick seems like a cool dude who try's hard. I like to watch him ride.
I'd rather see some fire than have a guy who shows no personality.
I don't think he should apologize to anyone.
if you walked it you wouldn't need to talk it.
You're the guy DVR-ing the next race.
Post a reply to: Peick apologizes to....
