I see nothing done to justify a DQ. It is a normal RACING incident.

I don't think he meant to go off the track like that, if he had stayed up we would have block passed the dude and it would have been a good move.

They didn't touch so why would he be penalized?

If that's the case, the dude that crashed on his own on the start should be penalized for taking out the dude on the Suzuki.
I bet if they had touched and both gone down there would be no DQ, unless a fist fight ensued.

You are right, it would have been a "racing incident" either way I think from watching the video he didnt mean to run off the track especially in a battle with some one for a podium spot.

Towards the end of the video he also says that the guy that crashed had a run in with him earlier in the moto, didnt see it on that video. BUT...if you dish it out, be prepared to get the same done in return.

Looks to me he came in hot and the front started to wash out, he eased up on the binders and it stood him up and off the track. Whambalance is on its way. Crybabies lol.
X2... Someone mentioned that he did this before though... But that was a racing incident for sure.

The intent was there. Good for DQing his a$$.

Looked like he tried to cut into the inside line and momentarily lost his front end. Nice save and great pass.

amazing some of the guys that post here who are saying it was a take-out move have ever "raced" in their lives. turds.

ever gone through a rut and your front wheel popped out? same shit happens if you're carrying too much speed and don't get the bike laid over enough, it stands the bike up and you don't make the turn.

watch the AMA nationals, you'll see that shit happen all the time.

that's what it looked like to me.

In baseball, an attempt to hit a batter in the head with a pitched ball will get you kicked out of the game.

Or if he did, he badly miscalculated.

Yeah I'm sure he meant to blow out the turn and fly off the track... These dudes are on the gas in the heat of battle. I've made aggressive passes, and been on the losing end of aggressive passes. Sucks when you're the one on the ground, but that's racing.

Say what you want about Friese, but the dude has been riding his ass off every week.

Maybe #83's dad is part of the track organization and felt bad for his son getting a clean pass put on him.

It was an aggressive move plain and simple. No way did it warrant a DQ. Absolutely pathetic!!! There's more aggressive moves than that in the Vet class up here in PA.

It's pretty clear after watching the clip and listening to the interview with Balkovic at the end that his sole intention was to take out the suzuki guy. Just imagine what would have happened if the suzuki guy hadnt braked. It would have looked something like this...

It was aggressive for sure........but I don't think #55 intended to come in on that other guy that hot. Christ.....he didn't even touch him and he got a DQ? What the hell?
I thought the same thing, after reading some of the comments I was expecting some blatant take out move which that wasn't.. There must be some prior history or something for that to warrant a DQ.

Well it was a clumpsy move, but I don't get why he got DQ'd for that.
He didn't stay on his racing line, it was so blatant he went off the track for the take out.

he didn't gain a position on the track so a DQ is overboard.
I am commenting on what I saw on video his off track actions in person another story.

None of you seem to be aware of this kids history. He has quite the little reputation, did you listen at the end to the kid who won? Said "yeah I passed him and just tried to stay away from him" pretty much. Also Balkovich said that the kid "basically tboned" him in the turn before, when the kid who got third and saw the whole thing said it was a completely clean move around the outside of him. Looked like he went into that turn to CLEAN that kid out, got whiskey or something and blew off the track. Can't believe he pulled that little stunt right there in front of everyone, just furthering his image as the Vince friese of amateurs. Can't be good for sponsors.. Whistling

I have watched it atleast ten times and I look at it like this.

If my kid did that to another rider it would be a long time before he got back on a bike on my dime. I have always taught my kid to ride like its your track and dont give anybody the spot. Fight for your spot and hold your line but NEVER take someone out. Ride agressive and hold your line but if you cant beat someone because your better then them ,then you need to work harder.
I'm glad they DQ'd that kid.

That's exactly what I saw. He was a tad out of control and ran it wide.

Did you really just ask that question. If I was you, I would bury this video. That has got to be one of the worst take-out "Attempts" I have ever seen. Looks just like a takeout I once saw Bradshaw do to Chicken.

Probably let this one go if I was you, I'm a firm believer that rubbin is racin but that "attempt" was a little much.

So in your eyes it's ok to discipline someone on what you believe to be true but can't necessarily prove? I mean yea we can all see he went for it, but can you prove it? I mean he honestly could have swung a lot closer to him but didn't.
I'd fine him for having shitty aim that makes him look like he was goon riding.

Intentional take outs in the B class? Really? Wow. From the looks of it, they should be concentrating on practicing their riding skills and not worry about taking that next position.
