If you haven't heard Matthes's post race interviews from St Louis you have to hear Reeds interview. "It's like a girl friend who cheated on me, I gotta learn to trust her again" when reffering to his bike. LoL.
Also Re: Dungey, "I had him covered".. LoLoL,
And Re: Stewie and Reeds pass on him, Matthes "It was like 2011 all over again huh?", Reed: "Yup there'll be more of that"... LoLoL
Also interesting the take between RV and MA regarding RV's pass etc.

Matthes: Dirt good, track good, bike I think a little better?
Reed: We went back to last year's suspension. It was awesome. I went back to my Austrailian settings when I last won.
(some chatter about the RV/JS red cross pass)
Matthes: Good battle there going on.. Five of you guys going at it.. sticking it on Stew like it was 2011
Reed: There'll be more of that. I just need to get some comfort in the front. My bike's been like a girl that cheated on me you know? I just got to trust her again.
Matthes: Dung made a run of you at the last lap?
Reed: I had him covered. Knew where he was and just was... riding it out.
Matthes: Good ride
Reed: We'll bring it next week.
At a time when cubic dollars are being pulled from the sport seeming every month, logic tells me that the millions of dollars that Monster brings to the table holds a lot of weight.....and that point doesn't even have to be spoken between Monster and the sanctioning body. (whoever that is right now) They both know their place.
As I like to say, the words coming out of your mouth tell me one thing, your actions show me another. (not you Guy
Pit Row
Money may be harder to find for our sport if this goes away. Likely the last thing you want to drink is that crap if you are a "pro" or any type of racer.
Does Reed not recall gaining time on Barcia, RV and Stewart during flag city??? Both he and Dungey were 3-4 seconds back and dropping when they motored up through that section right up to Barcias wheel ....then it was a little dicey for a few laps as Stewart seemed a littel caught off guard.., but RV and Stewart pulled back away from Reed and Dungey
Funny the know it alls were wrong once again.
St Louis was the second week of him using them, lets see if Daytona will be even better.
so in Reeds case, the cheating girlfriend reference was his joke of the night, or week... Reed still thought it was funny....So I guess that answers my question.,,,,the riders more often then not just repeat themselves....which is fine i guess
