Two red but he's a title contender so who cares right?

Who cares that RV was fastest the night and would have won anyways that is not the point.

The point is he passed on a yellow and there are rules in place for a reason knows what they are.

To not get knocked any positions just taints the whole rule book. I honestly think that if it was a non Monster guy the docking of positions would have happened.

So the Red cross flag in front of the tripple and right before the rider were for another rider????????????? The cross flags and the yellow flags were ALLLLLLL for the same downed rider. The red cross flag was right in front of the rider and RV should not have passed Stewart period, especially when they right beside the downed rider. No excuses.
they all rolled the triple. then got to that yellow.

So if RV had landed on the downed rider during the first infraction would he have still only been docked three positions?

That is what the AMA is saying

Watch it again, there was another red cross flag being displayed right where he made the pass.

I looked up douchebaggery and my dictionary linked to CBS.

Some moto is better than no moto, but these infomercials are wearing very thin, very quickly.

Passing under yellow is ok under the rules . They were clear of the rider that was down with a clear track ahead of them . Stewart slowed down even more , RV had to slow down to a stop not to pass James .

Do we really want guys racing into a turn trying to pass where there is a rider down and four people standing on the track?

Most flaggers are complete idots , standing way off the side of the track , holding the flag motionless .

They knew the Red Cross flag was out at the beginning of the section. That first flag was to let them know about Kiniry being down at the end of the section after the triple where every one was standing on the track and there was another being displayed as they entered the corner. What more does there need to be?

They just know they don't need to follow any rules. I'd rather the AMA say it's a monster commercial as apposed to what they say by not penalizing anyone.... That being we are incompetent and can't take care of downed riders.

Heck, if that had happened at a local race, the overtaking rider would get DQed. Even local riders know better than that. As I said before, I'll bet Villo wishes he had that one to do over again.

Did not realize that you could pass on yellow in AMA (kinda silly as no one will ever slow down for downed riders safety but that is another topic) but I watched it a few times and 10 feet before the pass there was an official holding a red cross flag on the left side of the track.

So one waving red cross at entrance to section, yellows in between another red cross (held out not waving but still visible nonetheless) and then waving yellows.

Very obvious and no question it was a pass made that is subject to a docking of positions.

Monster pays the bills..........................

So what do you guys think about Stewart's pass on Villopoto entering the section? That clearly caught Villopoto off guard because he was getting ready to roll the triple. The red cross flags were right in front of them at that point. If you're mad about one, you have to be mad about the other.

If that's your argument, then you have to acknowledge that Villopoto didn't see the second one.

What rv did last night was VERY unsportsmanlike regardless of the rules as they are written or what penalties he incurred. I lost a lot of respect for him. The rule should be written that the most severe flag is in effect thru a flagged section meaning that if there is a red cross flag out and the a string of yellows its still a red cross flag situation until all flags are clear. The flags are about safety and as the previous incident that caused the race stoppage showed (although we barely saw it on tv) the greatest threat to a rider on the track are the other riders and their bikes. It was clear that they were not clear of the injured rider at the time of the pass. It also doesn't matter if a rider sees a flag or not, if its out there then its in effect.

Also a 3 position penalty on the restart for his infraction is a joke.

They weren't even to the section and were going the other direction. Completely different scenarios.

Second offense should be a DQ or at least a time penalty. I simply think it might be time to take a break from the joke that is anything AMA.

Potto didn't see the first flag because Stewart cut him off Potto was even going to hit the triple till he noticed stewart let off. Then they were side by side Potto was on the inside going around the turn he didnt pass him he was just staying in his line.

He completed the pass after the turn. After red flags and yellows. Like James completed the pass before the cross flags.

In the pulpmx post-race podcast Matthes says Milsaps said Dungey doubled on a Red Cross flag too, so if it's the monster show why didn't he get docked 3 positions? He said it on TV too.

Fanboys will always whine when their favorite rider doesn't win which is what is going on here with Kegels.

Post a reply to: Yup. Monster show.
