So how much time did the rider have on this bike? It looks like it was just put together this week.

It kills me that people put so much money and fanfare into these novelty rides, but cheat the rider out of weeks (or months) of testing & training on the bike.

I'm pulling for you guys and hope you make it to the night show.

that's because the all the new parts were put back onto this bike, they used the old wheels/plastic/etc when testing

The bike looks sweet! Last week seemed like the intensity knotched up, Daytona's going to be huge. It will be even better if you guys make the show. Hopefully the powers will make some changes to level the playing field soon.

i cant wait to watch the race Saturday night. The bike looks awesome. I'm even more excited about the outdoors on the Ktm's.

You've missed a big opportunity. Having videos at least 2 weeks out (not a few days before) would of amped up the excitement and most importantly, the AWARENESS of your efforts.

I didn't see it, but is Jeremy Wendelken also trying to qualify at Daytoner?

You go to two stroke motocross's website and there isn't any mention of this effort on the front page??

Go to the racing page and it mentions YZ250's for the 2013 MX Nationals, but this thread says it will be KTM's.

Update your stuff!

I scratch my head sometimes at these types of things and how people just don't "get it".

Sure, there will be some excited nutheads like myself as our types are keyed into these things.

Gotta agree with you there. I was waiting for the vids and a bike build thread somewhere but it just hasn't happened. Maybe there wasn't enough time but with how much effort that has gone into this it seems a shame to leave people hanging for the info they have been asking for since this thread started.

exactly there just wasn't enough time, charles was more occupied with getting the bike setup and testing (which there wasn't a great deal of on account of rain) BUT Ryan got plenty of time on the bike, they went riding at goerke's place today to get everything dialed in

if you're in daytona, go say hello Smile

I hate to say it but it sounds like you guys are not prepared. A few days of testing will not cut it when trying to qualify for the most stacked class, aboard an underpowered 250 two stroke. Hopefully Ryan can prove me wrong by qualifying for the night show, but for now I have my fingers crossed. Unsure

It's an awesome setup,great exposure,will no doubt generate lots of interest and hopefully a good result as a reward for a ton of work,time and money from all involved including the riders of course.Yahoo,go get 'em guys and have funCool
