Am I the only one that thinks the Pulp show is at least two hours too long?

I like it how it is. If I get sick of it, I turn it off. Which is rare.

I could not disagree more. If they had another show on in the same week, I would listen to that 4hr show as well. That being said I am a motocross nut and love every bit of info I can get my hands (or ears) on. That show has also alowed me to see the real personalties of a lot of riders such as RV2. That guy on the podium seems like the most dull and straight edge guy on the planet, get him out of that setting and you see his real personality. The guy is actually pretty funny. Keep the shows long Matthes!
Very true statement bro! i get so frustrated at "some people" that put so much stock on a riders personality and fully judge them solely from their 1 min on the podium.

I listen to it sometimes half live then download and relisten or finish, and wear headphones the entire time... And after that will listen to whatever else he does, DMXS, then SMODCAST, TESD, Jay And Bob Get Old etc... Then I'll listen to whatever new music i've got... being a designer helps!

No complaining from me. I still find myself searching for more after listening to Pulpmx and DMXS every week at the gym or while driving. By Friday I'm all out and Monday sux too lol. 4 hr drive ahead of me today to pick up a bike. Perfect!

Yes, I think it is too long, I feel like I'm wasting a hell of a lot of time listening to it. And if I'm doing something else while listening I find it difficult to concentrate on what they're saying.

Yeah, Matthes really needs to address this!!!? Grinning

Don't see what the fuss is about, I'll happily sit and listen to guys talk Moto all day every day. If I get bored, I switch it off and come back to it another time.

Matthes could make each show 6 hours long and I'd probably sit and listen to it while I work. Only thing that bugs me is the adverts, but I understand they need to run them to pay for the show - and my entertainment.

it would be interesting to see a poll to see who listen live and who downloaded the show for later . Im a meter reader and drive for 4 1/2 hours every day through my Android phone on Stitcher while wearing headphones.
I've tried listening to the show in the evening while taking care of my 4 year old boy. Its HARD! I would bet that's the best place to listen live would be in your garage wrenching on your bike.

If they could tighten it up it would be a great live show.

Stitcher now allows you to jump ahead 30 seconds at any time as well so the commercials can be skipped.

Leave it long. Pulp is my staple when driving or riding the train to work. It's awesome that it is so long.

I think it's good. I'm actually usually happy to see when it is a longer show. I always look forward to it. I could see if you listened live how it could get long. I use the BeyondPod podcast app, download it, and listen to it at my own leisure. This allows you to pause and pick up where you left off, and also fast forward through commercials.
