Me too. I used to have a weekly appointment slot on eBay where I would search for your guys' stuff. I hope you can make it happen. That would be awesome. You could just throw some new colors on the old design and people would still buy it. Be sure to include a vented jersey in your line up though! If I can get that yellow left over gear and make it to LL's you could just give me some business cards and I could start putting the word out that Stiffie is back in business!

Cheers from Italy!
I was the first in Italy to wear SMP and LBZ, sadly they didn't have a good follow....

Stiffie was rad too!

I still ride my RM 125 '99, those RM's were the best in style

I had my helmet painted as the Stiffie's team of 1998, that Team helmet graphics was siiicck!

Hope Stiffie will be back in the business, we need something different and with some personality

@Flatliner We are obviously the original equipment manufacturer and I regret to inform you that we do not have even one set in our warehouse for the sake of nostalgia or display. Our old warehouse in Simi Valley, CA was where we last had some on hand. We still had a few sets we were holding onto after we pulled the plug on furthering our production. Unfortunately, they disappeared once we moved in 2000. We pulled the plug on MX gear and the race team in 1999. The last year we manufactured gear was 1998 so if you can find anything from back in the day I would snatch it up. We are wishing we had one set ourselves but with so much talk about our old gear we are considering a comeback in 2014! I will keep everyone posted as things develop.
If you continued with the simple design of the old stuff I'd buy it over anything currently out. I have such a hard time finding gear that doesn't look like someone dropped acid while designing it.

Funny thing is my buddy had a brand new Stiffie seat cover and bar pad he ran on his RMZ. The seat cover was a sparkly metallic looking orange and his bar pad matched. Brings back some good memories.....

It's cool to read what people have to say about Team Stiffie and our old gear line. We appreciate all the positive and negative comments or feedback. When and if we have something ready to introduce into the MX market again I look forward to letting everyone know.

Here is Jeff Willow in late 1997 testing the Air Ride pant and free ride jersey.

is that the lowest elbow in the sport?

What years was this? I was sponsored by EZ-Wider / Joker back in the late 80's early 90's while drag racing.

It looks like Stiffie is getting a little more active on Instagram and talking about a comeback for later this year. I won't hold my breath, but I'm hoping they pull through with it.

The return to motocross is in the works. We definitely appreciate the interest in the brand making a return. It is motivating to know that Stiffie made a lasting impact on the moto industry. We hope that some of you who were around in the mid to late 90's will remember the brand but we understand that it is almost 20 years later. As always, some people liked what we were trying to do and some did not. A new generation of riders are here now that wont know anything about our brand. It has been a long time since we have been gone.

The market has certainly changed but we believe we were ahead of our time. We will return in 2017 with current designs inspired by the past. There are a lot of great things other moto companies are producing. It has been inspiring. Bottom line, we miss being involved in the sport.

With that said, our current plan is to release moto graphics/seats and casual apparel in the Fall season of 2017. It could happen sooner. Designing and testing are in the works. We should be able to share some of the designs soon. Keep an eye on instagram and/or facebook while we overhaul our website. Hopefully the rest will come at some point in 2018.

I remember Stiffie like it was yesterday. If you need an old timer (39) that wore your gear in '98 to R&D the new stuff give me a shout lol

I actually just found an old pair of crutches with Stiffie stickers on them. Great memories.

I ended up meeting the brain child behind Stiffie the other weekend and he even let me ride his vintage bike as long as I agreed to wear my original 1998 polyester stiffie gear. It was incredibly hot, but he forced me to do it. He said if we are ever going to return stiffie to it's former glory then we have to let people know that we are serious by wearing polyester jerseys in 100 degree weather. Just kidding, it was a blast, I had a great time meeting him and he is working to return stiffie to it's former glory.

Oh yeah definitely. I met his whole family and we had a great time. We were a little late to the line on our second moto because we were sitting there BSing about how fast we are. I hope we can get things rolling for a return to moto. He is a smart guy, I think he can do it. I loved his stories about the old days and hearing him talk about what it takes to get product out there.
