I’ve always done factory bike replicas wich I love doing but being a 90s nerd I had so much love for all of the privateer efforts.
I am working directly with Stiffie Brand on this build and they are making me a custom 90s kit for my 93 YZ250 as well as re introducing new lineups of gear and swag that I’m so pumped on. Anyways.... here is what I have accomplished so far

I was lucky enough to find a factory shock for this bike. I love how the shock spring turned out as well. This bike will scream 90s when I’m done. Haha. Even with the black ass end.

Sorry the pictures aren’t loading in order.

If you run into any compatibility issues with 90s YZ part, I basically turned myself into Rainman in that regard. 246. Of course there's 4 on the floor.

Sweet build! What's the story on the gas tank boss extraction? I'm interested in what you did there.

Thanks man. I heat up stripped tank nurserts with a cutting wheel on my dremel . That way they are easily removed. Then I removed the bolt and replace using a two stage epoxy

Did you pull it straight out...did it put up a fight? Curious, I'm getting ready to go through that myself.

The word that I heard on the street is that stiffie might be working on some kind of comeback soon.

Which machine did you get? Closed loop? I couldn’t help but notice some woody shrouds in the background. Is that bike next or???
