I heard they were bought by Targa or someone; but, what I really wanna know is what's happened to their products? (Sent a few things back recently 'cause it jus' wasn't the same ol' Bullet-Proof stuff!)

Also, are the even involved in Moto, anymore?

Go ahead and give me a ration of shit about my "quality" comments; but, until you log several thousand miles a year in Baja...?

I literally live just down the road from Ogio. 5 yrs. ago I knew quite a few of the people there. Now I don't know anyone.

I do know they were talking to Targa years ago as well. Wasn't aware the deal was finally done though.

I'm still using my luggage and gear bags I picked up about 3 yrs. ago. Hoping the quality really hasn't gone down as I'm finally in need of some new bags!

That's a shame if commitment to quality went down, because the older stuff truly stood up to abuse better than just about any other like product.

Tool Belt/Packs & off-road-able back packs are the items I was not happy with. They ARE not as good as they were.

Gear bags?

I hope they don't screw those up!

I love 7900 & 9700!

I had three Ogio backpacks, used for traveling, and over a period of a few years.

The zippers on each bag all blew out within one year of use.

That was enough Ogio product for me!

I have roughly 10 of their various backpacks, gear bags and duffel bags, they are in almost perfect condition even after 7 or 8 years of abuse and worldwide travel. I will have them repaired before I replace them.

The most recent one I've got is about four years old and the laptop compartment zipper is starting to go, but that's after four years of traveling to every Supercross and every National.

I've got a new one on the way.

Yep. Fun days with Andy and Jessie when the moto park was not getting every neighbors panties in a bunch from dust. But Im with you. Knew several people there (rode with a few on more than one occasion and had a few foam pit parties) but couldnt even tell you who is there anymore. Sucks if the quality has gone down, cause that stuff was bulletproof as it gets.

I know they are heavily involved in golf, and thats where the real $
is at for them. Moto doesnt even come close to the numbers they are
making in golf.

I still buy a bunch of shtuff from them and all have been good quality.

Recently, my son-in-law, a Toledo University football coach showed me the OGIO backpacks that every team-member

and staff received at the Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise....embroidered logo and all.

I dig the OGIO. And I miss Andy, too. Great guy, unsure where he is now ?

This is a bummer if true. I was sponsored by OGIO when Andy Bell was working there and he was my contact for awhile for things I needed. I loved there stuff, everything I was given is still working to this day 100% as well as it was when I got it. Stuff really is (maybe was) bullet proof. I used to talk girls into getting into my 9800 gear bag at college and riding down the 20 stair staircase! Thing had to have done 75-100 laps down them haha.

I'm sure Andy is doing pretty well (or at least having fun) with all the Nitro Circus stuff. I believe he did some announcing for a bit also? Could be wrong. But yeah, haven't talked to that guy in a few years. I doubt the phone number I have is even still good. Kinda didn't want to bother the guy once he became all "MTV." Not that I expect it would change him much. That guy could not have possibly been any cooler to me and my friends over the years.
