I made a legitimate post saying that I don't think Reed will be back next year. I wasn't bashing him. I wasn't saying anything bad. All I was saying was that if Reed doesn't feel like he can compete for wins much like Windham then I am in the opinion that he might hang it up. Most of us knew this might be his last year anyways.

Reed is just not riding like the Reed we all know this year SO FAR. I still think he has a chance to win a race this year and will probably get it figured out but with him having an excellent career and coming off an injury last year I am not sure he will be willing to take the risks anymore and I don't blame him. I just hope he stays involved in the sport and I will miss him.

Then I get fucking reamed and then I guess Scottie decides to move the post to the dumbgeon because he didn't like what I said. Freaking unreal. What is up with the moderators lately? They need to get off there high horse. It's not even the members that are a joke but the moderators. Like big brother around here that should let us members regulate ourselves instead of half the posts getting moved to the dumbgeon. Place is getting so strict and regulated with some ego.

Not becoming, it is. Only message board I have seen where you get bitched at for doing what this place is intended for. Bench racing that is. It seems as if you need to ask guy b his permission before you start a thread or post in one. It's called the first amendment.....

I got a big problem with oscottie lately. I follow him on twitter and he constantly bashes this place calling everybody retards and insults everybody for having some fun on here yet he is a moderator. That's some messed up shit right there.

I just get the feeling he feels like he is better than everybody else and a bigger fan and knows more and that bugs me. . I just don't like the whole big brother attitude with some and I think members can take care of themselves for the most part and we are great at posting from emotion and stirring up a little drama and like you said just bench racing and try and not take things too seriously. If I don't like a topic or where it's going or think it's stupid I just stay out of it and move on. I have the choice to use the back button.

One thing I am not a fan of is members fighting and calling each other names in posts and those should get deleted or put in check but other than that I think it's pretty fair game to bench race. I understand Guyb has a right to do what he wants and I really don't have an issue with him. He's usually pretty fair. Just some of the mods when they don't agree just feel the need to delete a post.

Ive learned certain riders are off limits to talk about... Reed, Villopoto, Canard (even with nothing bad to say about him).

Its kind of a shame though... because I got a thread clicked twice about villopoter.. but all the js7 bashing threads stay... what gives idk.. but its fucking annoying... let it be a fair playing ground. But whoever the mod is that is doing that gets his panties in a bunch about certain riders. but lets other riders get bashed to death

I think the title of the thread..."Reed's done" may have had something to do with it. The mods can change the title but I think it set a negative tone and that can be seen by some of the responses.

I might be a little harsh saying this place is becoming a joke but damn I am just mad that my thread got clicked for pretty much no reason. I love this place. I have been coming here for 10 years now. I see stupid posts all the time me included. The thing is if there is a topic that I don't like then I just move on. I don't even continue to read it. I don't know why the mods can't do the same unless there is violence, hatred, etc. but I just wanted to have a legit conversation about Reed and really just speculate on what we think he might do but then a mod got offended and thought I was hating and being stupid and clicked the thread.

This place isn't my life. I just like to come on here a few times a week and see what people are saying and I am mature and smart enough to weed through the bullshit. Man, it just frustrates me.

I don't know if my thread got clicked because of my topic and what I said or what was said after it. I can't stand the arguing and member bashing. The member bashing is worse than the rider bashing and that's when people start getting defensive real quick.

Some of you guys read WAY more into what gos on here with moderation.

It's impossible to have a hard and fast rules as to whats acceptable and whats not. It's all up to the discretion of each mod so sometimes you get different levels of stupid dropped into the Dumbgeon. Whats so hard to understand?

It's not hard to understand it's that you have a few guys-you included that decide what is acceptable and what is not instead of letting the members decide for themselves. If a post isn't any good then it gets buried on the second page real quick because nobody responds and the ones that people are interested in keep on going. You mods will let member bashing go on forever but the riders are off limits.

I have never understood why people get so attached to their threads. It can't be that important. There has always seemed to be favoritism toward certain riders by some of the moderators, if you don't like it PM them about it, or do something else.
