Not sure if this has been posted yet, but lets give it up for Davolos for one of the ballsiest rides I have ever seen!!!

To have that get off in his heat, win the lcq, almost holeshot the main and finish on the podium, is an unreal mental feat!!!!

You could tell he was shook up in his interview.

EPIC RIDE!!

I was just happy he didn't get seriously hurt when he got ejected like that, then he runs up front the rest of the night! Badass performance! Cool

He's lucky his trajectory didn't cause him to land head first 1 foot lower into that berm, or he would have ended up like Fonseca, or worse.

Huge props to Martin, I think my heart stopped for a minute when I saw him flying head first at a rock hard packed berm. I mean lets face it neck brace/top of the line helmet or not he would have likely had major head and/or neck trauma and some shoulder injury if he had been about a foot lower. Luckily for him he went over the berm into the tuff block and slide down the backside of the berm.

Definitely one of those times when no one complains about "too many tuff blox" Glad to see he was okay!

I was explaining to my GF Davalos' story and how this was his make it or break it year. He ran a good race but I can't help but wonder if holeshotting and finishing 3rd is enough to satisfy Mitch. I suppose Baggett being out and Tyla finishing way back make it more acceptable but Mitch strikes me as the kind of guy who isn't happy with a 3rd, especially when he held the lead and got passed..

I hope Davalos keeps putting in good solid performances, would love to see him win a few.

I thought we might have seen the end of a career there. Super stoked he was able to rebound.

Did it look to you guys like he missed a shift or something like the announcers were claiming?

To me it looked like the lip was just smaller on the left side and that's what sent him short.

Mitch said in his pulpcast he thought it was a good ride considering. Rattray was the guy he was down on

I think it was a great ride considering his near tragic accident. His setup looked off in the whoops.

Hell yes! No doubt an inspiring performance given the circumstances!

Yeah one foot lower and he would have been done. Glad he's okay.

I'm very happy he wasn't severely injured. That was too close. I also wonder if he hit neutral? Congratulations for such a strong rebound.

That wreck had me really concerned initially. I thought he went head first into the lip of the berm when it happened live. Glad he is okay and a spectacular ride after such a horrific crash. I probably would have been going on/off the table for the rest of the night after a wreck like that lol.
