This what I have done so far.
Pro Circuit exhaust, suspension and link arm.
I got the handlebar mounted map selector and have it on
the aggressive map and I added one tooth to the rear sprocket.
The suspension feels way better than stock but not as good as my Kawasaki's.
The main problem is the motor. There is absolutely no bottom end on this bike and 2nd gear doesn't feel like it pulls far enough
and 3rd feels to boggy. It's not bad on a really fast track and it's not bad on a really tight track but on an average size mx track it feels like I cant find the right gear and if the track is real rutty I dont have any bottom end grunt.
I know this sounds crazy but my friends who are pro's who have ridden my bime say the same thing.
Does anyone know how to get more bottom end out of this bike and has anyone geared it down two teeth or tried a different gear ratio with the front sprocket?

I would give the guys at Dubach Racing a call. They've invented about as much time as anyone into the 350. If anyone can help you, it's them.

I hear there's a big bore kit that will bump it to 450cc. Whistling There's no replacement for displacement.

All you got to do is Rev it more! The harder you ride it the better it is.

To the op, sorry for the change of topic. Did you ever figure out what caused your throttle issues with the TM 300? Would you recommend the bike?

Here's a link to a pro-am rider who spent some time riding/racing both a 250MX and a 300MX this past year, it sounds like he actually prefers the 300. He's detailed his experience with both bikes pretty well.

Have you tried any of the other maps?

We use 13/51 gearing on all our 2011 2012 and 2013 SXF 350's this lets you run it in third alot more, makes the bike alot easier to ride.

I sold it to my buddy and have ridden it once since. I like the engine but I would have to get the suspension done by someone who who knows about TM's if I ever bought another. They do a test of the 250 and 300 in tbe new mxa.
I have thought about getting one of there 4 strokes. I still dont know 100% what caused my wreck. The throttle hasnt stuck since.

Well if its just 2nd and 3rd ratios you have a problem with why not split the box and get different ratio gears ? im sure its 2 dots on the side of the gear its standard, 3 is a higher ratio & 1 lower.

Is it detonating or just bogging?

I did everything you have done so far on my '11 350 (used local suspension shop is only difference), I put a Loudmouth intake on and it made a big difference in bottom/mid. Bike still was a revver though..

Short of putting a big bore kit on it, you're going to have to ride it like a 250F.
They just do/will not feel like a 450, and if you arent ready to keep the rpm's up
you will not feel like you are going fast. I also hope they resolved the EFi issue's
the 12's had. scary shit.

Its not a 250 nor is it a 450. The thing is designed to reved. PANKL ROD people ! let the thing sing dont lug it,the bike will hate it and you will hate it. I get frustrated when people try and reinvent the wheel so to speak with these things. It needs to be ridden aggresively thats what its ment to do, have a look at the torque curve. sorry for the rant.

i have had the 2011 350 wich i loves lacked a little in power put an akrapovic on at made a big differance cone valve front forks and a factory trax rear shock. the bike handles like its on rails. this year i went for the 2013 450 i rode it 3 times and took it back to the shop lost £1150 for 3 rides and got me the 2013 350 put a brand new akrapovic silencer on geared it down 1 and put a quick turn throttle on and thye bike is now what i would considder perfect. i carnt beleave how much more power it has than the 2011 its like night and day

I agree 100% with PPS Moto. I have had an 11 350 for a year and a half and the loudmouth intake made a huge difference. Also, the cylinder works 365 kit made it perfect. I love that bike. I have a used loudmouth intake and a brand new cylinder works 365 kit for sale, if you are interested let me know.

I know the bike has to be reved but it doesnt even have the bottom end of my kx250f. I do have a full Pro Circuit engine in that bike though so it isnt like any 250F I have ever ridden. Im still doing my comparison of what is the best midsize bike with my friends. My friends range from Vet Beginner to national pro and we have been swapping back and forth between the 13 KTM 350, stock 12 RMZ250, Stock 13 KX250F, stock 12 TM300mx, 12 KTM 250sx with Dicks carberator mod and several exhaust, a mildley modded 11YZ250, a stock 12 YZ250 ( we have two stock ones ) and my full PC 12 KX250F. All the bikes have the suspension done. I will post what we come up with when we are done for everyone's amusement. We have ridden several tracks and have done several races. We are racing this weekend and I am racing 3 classes. I am doing +30 on my KX450, and +25 on the 350. I am riding 250 B or C one moto on the PC KX250F and one on tbe Dicks KTM 250 two stroke.
The reason I said B or C is because in one series I race you can drop down a skill level every 10 years like REM. I can ride +30B and 250C in that series but in this series if you ride +30B you have to ride 250B. Im going to ask if I can race 250 C even if I dont get scored because the last race in this series there were a bunch of national level B riders and I finished last about 30 seconds behind the 2nd to last guy and that isnt going to be fun to do a bike test. For shits and giggles my friend that is a national level pro is riding my wife's KX100 in the two stroke open class. My other friend is a D rider and is riding the 2 stroke open class on one of the YZ250's. This is his second race ever and he says he is going to win because he is on a 250 and my other friend is on a 100. They have a bet with with each other. I think we all know how that race is going to turn out. It should be entertaining to watch my friend get lapped by a KX100 and we are going to get the announcer in on it so I cant wait!
