Be scared, very scared here is the infamous Lommel track we Euro always talk about...
Sure all AMA riders would drown in this sea of sand!!! lol Crazy how flat it is before the races Check Plons tour of the track

They had a Rookie Cup on it yesterday so it has already started to take shape for this weekend GP

I meant Lierop!
Yeah, Valkenswaard isn't that bad.
When I first was going over, my friends kept talking how sandy Valkenswaard was, I showed up and was like "This is sandy? Pffft...."
Never went to Lommel
I loved Lierop...Would love riding there
Teggers said the same

Went out to Perris last night, everything was great except "The Corona Crawl" it nearly doubles the time it should take to get out there...I need fasttrack dammit!

i expect Ken de Dycker winning the GP in front of Steve Ramon

BTW having a blast here, we just spent a week in Southeast Belgium The Ardennes region (french speaking) we totally lucked out last weekend and stumbled onto a local race in Weris' Belgium, it was pretty cool, it looked like the track is basically a grass field and they just show up with the starting gate and all accessories and throw a race, what a great looking natural terrain track it was , there were absolutely no jumps whatsoever on the track, but the setting, clay/loam, off camber sections and the elevation changes made it amazing. We drove by tuesday and you would hardly know a track even existed.
Enjoy!
I'll be in Lommel too tomorrow. If you are planning to stay a little longer in Holland/Belgium, I can recommend the following races :
- Aug. 10 : World Championship youth in Heerde (Holland). Sean Lipanovich will be there defending the American Flag :-).
- Aug. 15 : Belgian Championship in Mol/Balen, the most sandy track over here. Ramon, Strijbos, De Dijcker, Priem, De Reuver, Phillipaerts, Rattray, De Reuver and many other GP riders will be there.
- Aug. 17 : Belgian Championship in Orp-Le-Grand. Beautiful natural train track.
Have fun tomorrow in Lommel and don't forget your umbrella ;-) !
