I've been looking to get a new 450. I figured it's fall here in Utah, soon to be winter, and maybe I could pick up a cheaper bike. Got on eBay just for kicks and found this clean-looking 07 RMz450. Not for me, it's in NY, but seemed interesting enough. Zoo York is some designer clothing brand right? That seemed odd for graphics. If it's true what the seller says, that the bike is basically new and that it's just been sitting around the garage, how much would someone buy it for / is it worth?

RM's have caught my attention. What should I know about an 07?

X2 on this post. I just purchased a 2012 CRF 450 - but refused to sell my 06 crf 450... Such a good bike. Bulletproof. Also I did also own a 07 RMZ 450 - It was a good handling bike, but I had lots of issues with it. Now that could just be an isolated case, but thats my 2 cents anyhow.

I would not be afraid of the RM-Z, I owned the 2006 which was essentially the same. Mine was virtually trouble free and a blast to ride. It still had the 4 speed trans, which I really liked.

If its a good deal I would by it, my .02

i would just pass on that thing its not as new as you think, its got a different rear tire than stock on it, and its going to cost you 500 to get it shipped, the problem is you cant look at it and you own it like it or not when it shows up, now if it were new never ridden id pay 2000 for it and you would be at 2500 shipped which is all the money for a 5 year old 450

Thanks for the input everybody. I think eBay mx sales are stupid to begin with, unless you're in the area and can go look at the bike, especially when the seller is not a dealer. Not to say dealers are always honest, but seems better than some random guy. I wouldn't buy a bike a eBay for that reason. It is interesting to see no reserve auction style sales of bikes. Easy way to move a bike out of the garage and say, "I'm selling this bike in 9 days regardless of what I get for it."

I have a 2009 Suzuki Rm-Z 450 in really good condition and I can't sell it for $3300.00. I'd say 1800.00 tops.

It can be had for $4K w/ xtra set of wheel (it's his "track-bike")

This. Loved my '07 RMZ. Could carve an inside line like a 2-stroke, bulletproof. Had FC suspension and a pipe and was good to go. Sold it to get the '09 CRF450, HUGE mistake

The eBay listing for the '07 ended today. Thought I'd let you all know what it was worth to someone. $2,550. Seems like a lot for a 5yr. old bike, but I guess Chris Blose was out on an 07 CR at Steel City this year. Anyway, I'm still looking for a bike. Not too motivated since it snowed here in Utah this past week.

I have an 07 450 Zook I can sell you. Has a brand new still in the box Athena big bore kit and the crank was just rebuilt. 3 sets of plastic and 3 seats. 2 grand and it's yours. The catch? You have to assemble it. Bought it blown up, with the intention of doing a 500AF conversion to it. Fanelli was supposed to do it, then backed out. I've been sitting on it since fall of 09. It needs to go away.
