Remember the lead law issue a couple years back?
Do your research and see what your choice's stance is or was on the issue, or if the incumbent was for or against it.
Do the research.
Don't forget those who did right
(This is not about a candidate or party, it's about a specific issue directly related to this sport and industry)

my opinion.
if the person running is the incumbant. vote against them. and do it again in 2 years. and again in 2 more years. and again in 2 more years.
flush three times and see if they get the point.
then take the profit out of being in office. term limits, tort reform and host of other things should be easier to do.

There is only one candidate that is a champion of business, and it ain't Obama.
Why don't we base our votes on land closure instead of lead content?
I like Dave, but we are at opposite ends of the spectrum on politics.
I'm not trying to say this is definitely a left or right issue but it is something people need to be a part of especially on local level.
It is not my intent to make this about any candidate, and I, specifically, was referring more towards members of Congress, not the presidential race.
I wrote letters and received responses from my House and Senate representatives, and have kept that in mind in making my decision.
Whether others wrote their congressional representatives or not, I don't know, but I did.
If you didn't, see if you can find their position on it, either when initially passed or when the motorcycle part was repealed, regardless of party.
As Tbteam said, it wasn't anti-motorcycle legislation, it's just that motorcycles got swept into broader legislation with a different intent.
When it comes to protecting my ability to ride my dirt bike on public land....I'll trust the republicans over the democrats any day of the week....there is no question.
