Excited!! This is welcome back race for many.

Rooting for Reed

I'm hoping Reed and Dungey can give him a fight but you can't deny he is the man right now.

X2. I think he uses these races as an exercise for testing.
I'm anxious to see how Barcia and Tomac do on the 450's? I think RV2 will will overall again, but not all 3 moto's again.

Just curious. RV is the only person IMO who would have the odds in his favor to sweep the motos.

Who do you guys see for a wild card? Barcia?

You know a rider is pretty damn dominant if he can have his first race back from an injury like that....and still be considered the heavy favorite hehe. Hell yeah he could do it again....it's R-Fuggin' V were talkin' about here.

I don't think Tomac is on the 450s yet... That or I really missed something on here.

Either way I think Dungey will be able to to challenge some, but he just isn't the kind of rider for a winner-take-all dash for cash. RD is a great championship rider but not a one race type of guy.

I think Barcia and Reed are the potential spoilers for RV. Barcia because of his good starts and the short races, and Reed because well.. .it's Reed. I do think Reed is a slow starter though. Has he ever won A1? Always seems like he gets going a few races later.

They said he's riding a factory 450 just for the MEC

....or maybe it was a Geico 450 under the factory tent. Either way he's on the 450 this weekend and has been riding that lately just for the MEC.

Oh ok, thanks! Sorry I haven't been on here a whole lot the past couple of weeks. That will be awesome to see which of the two will be better. Tomac definitely has a great style for the 450.

Can he? Fuckin' A. Will he? Don't know.

Lots of track obstacles are going to make this race really hard for anyone to sweep.

All i want to see at this point is good racing and a healthy field at the end of the night.

What did you do after the National series was over?
I went back home to Colorado and took a few weeks off. I did a bit of archery Elk hunting. We do that every year, and it was good to get back to the Colorado roots. Then we drove back to California so that I can get ready for the Monster Energy Cup on the 450, and also Bercy.

Barcia and Dunge have been consistently lining up behind a gate somewhere.

RV has just been practicing. Same goes for Reed.

What about Dean Wilson, is he racing MEC?

I would bet that Monster was a little suprised at how easy RV stole their money last year. Two major factors. No passing, and no competition. Am I taking anything away from RV? No way the dude rode that 450 like a man and held nothing back.

However it is obvious that this year they have made serious efforts to ensure passing and throw question marks at the start as far as holeshots. We also have two or three more guys who could easily spoil one for RV if givien them slightest chance.

So my take is that he certainly could do it again. But it won't near as easy.

After seeing what Tomac did in SX last year I would definitely put him up there as a spoiler.

But how much money did they make by him winning?

I do think RV will get the overall....
But I'm guessing Monster Energy will be taking the 1M$ cash back to the bank on Monday.
I don't see a sweep happening with the current line-up.
