Scalvini with full carbon silencer. Obviously a Euro thing, the silencer is huge. The hacksaw will be put to use!

I would go with a transparent tank, with some cool graphics to cover most but not all, at least to be able to see the fuel level. Or, what would be real trick, is whatever color tanks, but with a strip of clear running top to bottom, like a sight-glass thing.

Look forward to your Scalvini review, Jow; thought about one for the 200, but found a deal on an older PC works pipe I couldn't pass on (hate the plated pipes, so those were the options).

No shit! normally my hacksaw cuts end up looking like the ride side of this......

On the bright side, I have little to no use for a tubing notcher as long as I've got my trusty hacksaw around.

newmann, will you adopt me? ill live in your shop, all it needs is a bed & bathroom plus internet access. Would love to be your live in shop bitch!! Laughing

Love what you did w/ the silencer! I took a stock 91 RM125 oval silencer and chopped it down to like 4 inches or so, and ran it on the CR60 i built, it looked pretty damn trick!

Thanks to someone not paying off the wheels they had put a downpayment on, I scored this sweet set of TCR's for not too much more than the cost of the hubs. Installed some Dunlops over a set of the Tubliss inserts. We'll see how they work. The rear was fairly easy to install but the front was an absolute bitch and reminded me why I hate to install tires.

I

Better pic of the pipe. 11 ounces lighter than stock. Combined with the silencer, over 2 pounds off the exhaust system. Not why I bought it, but...Smile

And before anyone says anything, black rimmage would have been my last choice. But the price was right. Originally was just going to relace the factory wheels, spokes and tires since TCR machines their hubs to use all factory hardware.

You are making me ill.

Sell me the bike when you're done, before you ride it. OK, Joe?

The last bike I sold you , you let sit for five or six years before you rode it.....

This is supposed to be my motivation to get back in shape after too many years off. Don't blow it for me!! Besides, the suspension is being set up for a fatty, do you qualify??Laughing

You're going to love it! Most here don't give the 150 enough credit, they make 40+ HP, lots to haul us fatties around the track just fine. While you might not gobble up the 450s down the straightaways you can come into the corners twice as hot and carry so much more speed out of them. How long till you'll be able to give it a good shake down?

enough of the sales plug...

Below is a pic of the 125 in progress

I'm a little old for some of your bling choices but the orange frame photo with graphics removed looks sweet.

Good luck with your project.

Keep us posted.
