I'm in driving over in the motorhome with my brother in law and his son. Delivering 3 paintings commissioned by Youthstream for the Lifetime achievements awards ceremony Sat night at the track.
Gonna be a good one, can't wait to see Herlings ride in the sand like he did yesterday at Leirop!

I'm in, with a few friends. Only 4 hours trip from home. Gonna be good, even without CP377...

250 bucks for two tickets?!? Geeze. $3000 for a round trip from Seatac to Brussles Airport... Maybe next year.Huh
I found $1158 for a non stop round trip from Seatac to Amsterdam, which is just a little over 50 miles further to drive than from Brussels. That's a pretty decent price for flights from Seattle.

I don't see the 170€ price you're seeing. It looks like it's 90€ per person for the adult weekend ticket.

The 50 euros for camping is 'per tent' not per person and wandering around the pits is not absolutely essential is it? Sure the pits are interesting but its not worth paying for in my opinion.

Maybe, but when I'm going to such an event I want to wander through the pits too!
But that's up to everyone themselves...
If I don'tforget it, I will search for my tickets from the Matterly Basin MXoN, which was absoloutly great!
Loved the british beer tent haha
But Teutschenthal will be close again this year...

Anyway, if someone is going to the MXoN with say his wife and 2 kids, it'll be a very expensive weekend...

Weird question.......but isn't the 2014 MXoN in the states? I know one is supposed to be coming up in the next year or so.....just don't know when and where. I'd like to fly out and go watch this damn thing before I die.

You should really watch one in person!!
My record is pretty short too, but since 2007 i missed only the 2010 MXoN, and my plan is to visit the race every year because it is so special to watch.

With your german roots, you should consider coming next year to Teutschenthal.

I guess I disagree with being charged for the privilege of staring vacantly into team awnings while a solitary mechanic replaces an air filter or polishes some plastics. Smile

You should go, it is the best race of the year in terms of atmosphere. It doesn't have the depth a GP or AMA race has. But for atmosphere it is hard to beat.

This year in Belgium or next year in Germany should both be amazing, since both teams will have a good chance.

Anybody else staying in Einhoven? I'll be over for work, thought a buddy or 2 was going to join me, but that didn't work, so I'm on my own. Driving myself down and back Saturday and Sunday isn't an option, since I love the beer over there. I'm assuming a taxi would do the job but would probably cost a bunch. Who wants to give me a ride? I'll help with gas / buy a round / whatever.

Thailand has a GP next year, and I will be there, that's for damn sure.

Frankfurt am Main?

We drive through Frankfurt in the night from Friday to Saturday and back on Monday.
So if you want to save the rental car and need a ride, let me know, maybe we can pick you up.

I'd like to get my hands on that very bike and send it to Service A.J. and let him "do what he do".

Oh, look, a '13 model hangin and bangin there on the left. hmmm
