if.if.if.

IF Blake had washed his front end at Millville or washougal he'd have over a Moto lead. if he hadn't gone done at high point he'd have over a Moto lead. there's quite a few what ifs this season the would only lend another Moto win to baggett.

all these what ifs you have are you trying to say Blake is lucky eli fucked up.
I wasn't slighting Blake just making a point how important every moto is. Blake will probably win, he's in the driver's seat. Maybe if Blake learns to ride SX like Eli they can continue this battle when they move to 450's

Stretch? What part? Tomac being faster or Justin leading the most laps? Or BB earning the title if he does win it? As for your comment about Tomac's best tracks, it could be said that the tracks BB goes fast and won on are "his" tracks. Tomac is faster right now and we will see how it pans out at the end of the day next Saturday. Keep the faith....
tomac being the fastest guy is a stretch. if every track baggett has won on are "his" tracks then thats nearly every track on the circuit minus the last three and he actually won at southwick. my comment was to simply point out that southwick unadilla and steel city are elis strongest. just as southwick was supposed to have been barcias strongest. the only track that i would say is baggetts strongest is hangtown and high point. tomac is not the fastest however he is faster RIGHT NOW not altogether. but that right now speed could get him a title.

The momentum is on Tomac's side for sure. I think Baggett is riding safe and smart and not hanging it way out there in order to preserve the championship. That usually works but it can also bite you in the ass if you start riding in a way you haven't been all year. It is a calculated move that the smart money would bet on but we've certainly seen some wild finishes in years past.

Yes he is the "FASTEST RIGHT NOW" hence, he is the fastest. BB controls his own destiny. He has put himself in a position that he doesn't have to win to clinch the title. All the credit to him for doing such and that is why its a 12 race series. If he can't put it away, then its on him as well and the other 11 races will not really have mattered will they? Just like Justin leading the most laps.....

Ive heard other people say the same thing, where is that stat coming from, I truly dont understand why those 3 tracks are his best?
i base it off these last 2 years where his seasons finally turned around .he was strong in practice at southwick last year but didnt put it together in the motos. unadilla and steel city he got back on the podium in 2011.

Judging by Blake's facial expressions and tone after the second moto interview, all the momentum is in Tomac's side of the court. This championship will probably be determined by Bagget's ability to handle pressure.

holding the points lead for 11 straight rounds and heading into the final with a 14 points cushion, sounds like he can handle it. his points gap has gone up and down through out the summer and he has yet to lose it. alot can happen at the last round, but A LOT would have to happen for things to change.
I could not agree more.

Great post.

Let's not forget Barcia is only two down from Tomac......

Could they send Bogle in as the "Geico Hatchet Man" and let the two red boys battle it out for the championship..? Wink

Highly doubt that. I wouldn't bet against Justin going Bam Bam on Blake though. Smile

He simply said his ability to handle pressure. Don't get your panties in a bunch, he never said he CANT handle pressure.

Blake's home track, or nearly anyway. He will do good barring disaster. Hard-pack, euro's will most likely not like it there. Blake just might come out and go 1-1, just to put an exclamation on it, or not. Pressure is there for sure of course, but a decent start and he should be fine.
