Nah he rode for Suzuki for a while in the 90's. I know Stanton rode Yamaha in his amateur days... but didn't know if that counted or not?? Or did he start riding pro on a Yam?

Although I would quite like to see him ride a different brand I'll be surprised if RV ever moves.

JMB Kawasaki:
This is the kind of thing I love to read here; I had no idea JMB rode anything other than Hondas.

Except for one Honda 50 and a short stint on a YZinger, Pastrana has been with Suzuki his entire riding career.

Yup. Damn this helmet/goggle/gear combo looks cool.

He also rode for NCY Yamaha in '94.

Shane Watts, KTM all three races in his pro MX career. There must be other off roaders that did just a couple also.

Broc Glover, Mike Bell?, Doug Dubach (I think he rode Suzuki's in 125's. Anyone?), Eric Geboers?,
I know RV2 rode Yamaha's in the amatuer's. Don't know if that counts though.

Shit, I forgot about Broc's stint at KTM. He came close though.

Dubach did ride Suzukis and had a very short stint on Cagiva in 1986 I believe, maybe in some Golden State nationals before going back to a Yamaha for the 1986 AMA nationals. I think the story was that the DR raced an 1982(83?) RM125 until 1985 in the local pro ranks.

Dubach and Barry Carsten may have some sort of record for the most consecutive years racing on one brand. Carsten raced Suzuki from 1989 to 2008 in AMA national competiton. I heard he was sighted on a Kawi at some local races after Suzuki cut contingency back around 2009-10. And Dubach has been full time on Yamaha since 1987 which makes 25 years at this point.

Geboers did ride for Suzuki before Honda.

Stanton was on a Yamaha support ride in 1987 (#56) and full factory in 1988 (#8, teammates with Dymond #6 and Glover #44). He went to Honda in 1989.

The first time I ever heard of Doug (Dubach) was reading in MXA that he was racing a 2(?) year old Suzuki against the other pros on new bikes.

If you asked me to identify this rider, and even gave me the hint that he is French, there's no way I would have guessed that was JMB. He actually looks like a goon in that picture! Elbows in, egg shell helmet, goggle strap down, crooked numbers, etc.

Greg Albertyn rode for Suzuki from 1994 all the way to retirement at the end of 2000, so he was pretty consistent. He did ride a Honda before that but I don't think it was a "factory" effort. I got a feeling he was technically a privateer in 1993??? Other than being 125 World Champion my knowledge on Greg doesn't go back further than that.
