Exactly.

Dude is trying to come out and race with possibly the fastest guy in the world right now after very little time racing outdoors, on a brutal track. If you are going to do that there is a chance you will get bit. He is one of the few in the world that is willing to do that. Hope he is not hurt too bad, its definitely more interesting when he is racing.

I can't argue with that logic, you are 100% correct. I do admire a guy that has the will to win or die trying.

Allot of people crashed today, he lacks race rythm and is pestered by injuries. He's one unlucky dude lately, i hope he can turn the tide.

Or maybe James has piled up so many head injuries that his focus and balance are not 100%........and may never be. He seems to really struggle with rutted tracks.

I talked with Mike Webb. Apparently James drug a frame rail in a rut and got cross-rutted. Mike said that James has a dislocated finger, and that they're having trouble getting it back in the joint. If they can't get it to go in, it may require surgery.

I thought it was all the fault of the Yamaha, he was supposed to dominate on the better Suzuki..
Dumb arse, there was a Yamaha on the track at the same time.

It took his concentration off the track and he crashed, it;s not his fault !

And the American flags were waving in the breeze, all these distractions dont help the fastest man on the planet!

And those fans, cheering, its got to be a big distraction.

Those other riders out on the track, well if they were not there he would win easily.

I lost most of the respect I had left for Bubba after his team came out blaming his crash on a Cameraman that crossed the track 100 yards ahead of him.

I guess what he needs is for the AMA to pass a rule for track personel to hold up "Freeze" signs so there is no movement in the background when he comes around, similar to the "quiet" signs used for golf.

He has seen has last title.

RV, RD, TC and all the up and comers will see to that.

That is a really good possibility, by far a better explanation than saying "its mental, its all in his head, no confidence".

I'm really bummed the way this outdoor season has gone for him. I was hoping he could get some of his mojo back with a successful outdoor season this year going into 2013 supercross.

Coming out full-throttle like he did today after not racing for a few months is pretty darn admirable. He really expects himself to win every time he lines up to the gate, and when he's not winning, you have to admire his history of willingness to push it past a comfort zone unlike any other rider the sport has seen for a win.

Hey he came back and gave it a shot didn't he? He could have set out the outdoor season totally, he could have packed it in after his first injury but he didn't he came back. He has shown heart and a desire to race when he has no contract!

I absolutely give him credit for his effort and IF he continues to show heart and a desire to race he will bring home another championship.

This is coming from a guy who has faulted James for not racing the outdoors in the past and I was critical of him for that. BUT I will not be critical of a guy who is injured on the track while giving it his all against the best in the world.

Its time to cut him some slack, don't put him in a Damned if you do or Damned if you don't situation.

Key word is "IT". I know he looked good at the beginning of outdoors but I just don't know if he has "IT" anymore. There are flashes here and there but I just don't know.

Why was he holding his arm on his mule ride out?

BTW: Missed the race...How many laps in before the crash? Geex, the first moto he had like 30 seconds on 2nd place after 2 laps. Aggressive rider for sure but he's got some bad luck these days.

To fake out message board retards? Beats me.

BTW, I think the use of Vitard is inaccurate. I think message boards in general are getting dumber.

James ran a 2.14 the 1st moto, a full 2 seconds faster than anyone else that entire moto, next lap crashed.

At what point does it go from admirable to just stupid? I can see taking calculated risk, but every time win or die as you say? Makes not so much sense to me. Eventually that crash is career ending.
