He pulled the the hole shot in the plus 40 class today!

Cool to see him still racing and performing.

Was it him who was tasered at an airport a few years back? I seem to remember it took 4 charges to bring him down.

Mike was a pretty descent racer back in the day. remember him pulling a holeshot in a SX main one night....ahead of who??.....I think MC?. Anyways.....over the first triple he whips it all side ways right in front of everyone....and I remember the announcer ( david bailey?).....says...." Oh boy.....here go"!

Don't want to cause or start any shit here....BUT.....He was playing around with one of my ex-stripper girl friends quite a few years ago. It was kind of weird.....because I remember hearing about he was this great family man and shit like that......about 6 months after he stopped screwing around with my EX. I kept hearing and reading how he was a devoted husband and father.......and I KNEW......at that time he wasn't. Fucking drank beers with Mike and some of his cronies up here in Portland......and I can tell you first hand.....there was some shit going down. Probably a good dude now......but back than.....honesty wasn't in his blood.

spent alot of time with Mike back in the day....sponsored him since his Team Green days all the way through his heyday in FMX........

great guy overall that would do anything for a friend, and was a good devoted family man.........BUT thrown into that whole celebrity circus he for sure had a side of "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas'............

I don't care what happens or whats said, mike and chris are gold. My father and i rode back from the us open in 98 (my bday present!) And chris sat next to us. She talked to us the whole way back, and a week later a package showed up at my house ; a signed SMP Jersey and birthday card from both of them.

I've had the good fortune of hanging out with Mike quite a few times in the last few years. The guys crazy as hell for sure but he's genuinely a nice guy.

The couple times I met him and the night I had a few beers with the guys.....he seemed really cool. The gal he messed around with was and still is a really good friend of mine to this day. And hell.....this was like 12+ years ago....or more. The weird thing is.....after she told me what happened , she mentioned something about him getting in trouble at home. ( thinking maybe his wife found out....came down on him pretty hard ). It was about six months after that and then many other times after it all went down.....and It wasn't just Mike , but all his buddies that were spreading the news that he was a devoted family man and stuff like that.

I just kind of laughed it off and said "Whatever". And don't get me wrong.....I thought he was a nice guy , that just did some stupid shit. But I think that's an easy thing to do when you're caught up in the lime light. From everything I have heard over the past 10 years or so......he is a great family man and so forth. I wish him and his family the best. AND.....it's cool to hear he is back out there racing MX.....back to his roots.

Saw him several times in Paris Bercy after parties. Guy likes to drink and fight, at least. And... well, i guess what happens in Paris stays in Paris, right ?
