A 71-year-old Arizona man has died following a crash Thursday, June 28, at a Lake Elsinore motocross park.
Coroner's officials identified the man as Charles Wayt of Show Low.
Both Wayt and another motorcyclist were taken to a hospital with critical injuries following the 10:30 a.m. crash at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park, 20700 Cereal Street, a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department news release said. Godspeed Mr. Wayt. To all the friends and family, take solace knowing he died a happy man.
We all gotta go at some point, can't think of a better place than an MX Track, rather than at home shrivled up with cancer or drooling with a stroke.
Inspirational to me who at 56, hopes that I can still moto at 71!
Doing what he loved....RIP and thank you for the inspiration.
