Uggghhhhh...........my 20 yr. high school reunion is tonight and tomorrow night. Dont know how many of you have been to these, but Im not looking forward to it.

Hell, I didnt like these fuckers 20 years ago, dont really think anything's changed.

The only plus to it, the chicks that thought they were the shit are mostly hogs now.

I can see one of two things happening:

1. I have a decent time and live through it,

or

2. I do what I didnt do in high school and go postal on everybody.

I'd suggest relaxing and having fun. Most have done some growing up in 20 years.

I went to my 5th & 10th and both were a waste of time. Just like you said, the morons you didnt like then are still morons and the cliques are still the same people, just older. Crazy how that works.

When I got invited to 20th - I just pitched the paper in the trash.

I had a great time at my 20th. I wasn't too jazzed about going but was glad I did.

I just had my 20th two weeks ago. I wasn't invited to the 5, 10, or 15th.
It wasn't too bad. The cliques were still in tact, but everyone socialized somewhat. Funny thing is the jocks all stayed in town and the people most viewed as the smart ones back then, moved out of town. Some very far away.
The way I viewed it, I graced them with my presence at 20 years, they will see me again in 20 more!!!

i went to my 30th last weekend. i had a great time. i talked to some of these people more than i did the entire 12 years we were in school together. everybody was really cool. i also went to my 10, 20, and 25 and had a good time each time. no more cliques, all good people. we had a good class.

i was very anti-social in school, skipped alot, partied, got bad grades, didn't hang out or socialize with many people. i've left all that behind and now consider these guys to be some of my best friends. from now on, we will have reunions every five years until we are all gone.

I did not go to the 5, or 10 but kinda got roped in to going to the 20th, It was o.k. the highlight was I got laid by a chick that thought she was WAY better than me in H.S. I treated her like a $2 whore.

I went to my 20th. I had a good time. It was great talking to people I had not seen in a long time. I was surprised on how many people didn't show. I think the low attendance was due to the organizer relying on word of mouth and Classmates.com to advertise the reunion. It's amazing how some folks looked like they did in high school while others...not so much.

I haven't gone to any of them, like was said above I didn't like any of them then why do I want to see them now. The few that I was friends with I either kept in touch with or have reconnected thought the internet. I might go to 30 in a few years just for the hell of it.

My friends were mostly outside of school, either motorcycle, skateboard, or BMX. Most of them are still around those sports or are coming back and I see them regularly.

If you have a yearbook from your senior year go back and look at the girls everyone considered hot as if you had never seen them before. Then look at the ones that nobody paid any attention to, I bet you find more that today you would consider hot in the nobody paid any attention to group.

And yes, a good portion of the jocks, prom queens and self appointed school elite never left town or did anything more than go to school in close proximity and come back to get a job where they can continue to live their lives in their cliques.

I've heard a lot of people say it sucks until your 20th. By that time, most of them are done trying to compete with whose life turned out better. Me personally, I didn't like most of them back then so why go?

The only reason to go to the reunion is to bone one of the old cheerleaders and tell her how much money you make.

I thought of posting that but decided not to.

Went to my 10 year reunion a while back. Saw several of my old friends and was happy to catch up with them. I was also shocked at how much "hooking up" went on at the reunion. Single, married, didn't matter. I had fun.

I've been to my 5, 10 and 15 year and we rocked them all. I was reluctant to go to the first one but wouldn't imagine missing another. Like Spinner said it is amazing the ass you can pick up at a reunion. My last reunion I ended up getting freaky with 2 girls at the same time. Its kinda funny because both girls where really shy in HS. I think they have over come that. One of them lives and hour and half away and we now get together every couple months. I also live in the same town as I graduated so after other classes reunions they all do the bar crawl and party like hell and do stupid things and its fun just to catch up, party and share stupid stories. Its a blast. I've got close friends in classes up to 5 years below and 3 years ahead. Its fun seeing people you haven't seen in a while. My sisters reunion is tonight. I'm actually going to go to it with one of her friends that called me up. They are having a huge after party at one of the grads house that is pretty well off, swimming pool, volleyball, DJ and fireworks. Its going to be a blast. Reunions are a meat market if your available for that. I love reunions.

attitude is everything. Forget what you know and go to have a good time (if you go).

Well, I lived through it.

It pretty much confirmed what I already knew; once a jagoff, always a jagoff.

The then-snobby girls were actually OK. I think I talked to all the cheerleaders more in 1 night than I did in 4 years of HS.

The Jocks were still the Jocks, no big surprise there. Didnt like then them, still dont.

It was funny watching people come in. Once the 10 seconds of "hi, how are you, what have you been up to" were over, everyone automatically gravitated to the same old "cliques".

All in all, Ive had worse times. Kinda glad I ended up going.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I never have gone to any of mine. There were over 1200 in my graduating class of 1986.

I went to 10yr and wast of time.
Wanted to go to 20 but was in a wedding that weekend for my best buddy.

Pretty much my experience also. Same as it ever was.
