I took my kid to Glen Helen last weekend for the final round of a Swapmoto series. He didn't get great starts or throw down the fastest laptimes, but he beat a few guys. Some of those 125 Beginners were fast! Anyway, it was cool for me to see him graduate from "rider" to "racer," 40 years after I did.

8/17/2015 1:52pm After quitting racing mx, I started riding a lot of street. After a few years of that, I got a dual-sport too. It is way more fun than strictly street. I ride it nearly every weekend and sometimes to work. I do mostly gravel roads and country roads, just riding around and exploring.
