Did you know that winds on Friday took out the JDR/J-Star/KTM awning? Or that there was one of the big aluminum Red Bull VIP structures that got blown over (and destroyed) on Friday?

Yes I heard that. Maybe they should have taken all the tents down at that point. No tents are strong enough to with stand these winds we get here.( sarcasm tags added since you seem to be missing some this am)

I think you're inserting how you think I feel into this. I just said it's been a discussion. If we got clipped (which I think is pretty unlikely), it would suck. It would negatively affect our business.

Now, having said that, I do think that there are a lot of people out there who wouldn't be able to say the same. Last year at Hangtown, there was an underage photographer who was there on behalf of another site. It was his first National, after shooting for a handful of months. Do I think he should be out there? No.

how about no photographers allowed on the track during the moto..

the track is for the riders..that does not include media.

it's a hazard for thee riders.

watch the 250 moto..you will see more than one run across the track.

that is ridiculous!

No. The one I'm talking about is a regular among moto photographers, and one of the more experienced (and conscientious) guys out there.

Yeah like when the track came apart at the IRL race today, or the jet dry explosion at Daytona Nascar this year, or the Daytona track cracking a few years ago during the 500.
