Sounds a lot like a 300XC with an SX ignition and head and less a gear. Especially if you're going to revalve to begin with.

Yep. a little less tank, a little less overall weight, a little different gear ratio and one gear missing, a little different cylinder and head, 1" bigger on the rear tire, handguards missing, a kickstand missing, and a little difference in cost.

cant go wrong with a 2011 and up kawi. Suzukis are good too, but i hear they have tranny problems. I don't like the new crfs at all, the dual pipe is just a mistake. More costly and just a bad idea in my opinion.

What kind of riding you plan on doing?

I say YZ 250 everytime. I doubt i'd buy a new one though. Look for a cheap 06 or newer thats roached and rebuild it into what you want for cheaper than a new bike. Just my opinion though.

2013 ktm 450. Another 350 is tempting but I think a 450 is more competitive for a guy like me.

Will buy the '13 CRF 450 as my next bike. I think this will be the best handling 450 yet. I really like my '09 and with the lower center of gravity, air forks, upgraded clutch and more compression, the bike should be great.

lol that's what I was thinking Hut... I like the laziness of the 450!

Also I get arm pump pretty bad and my buddy told me to stay away from the 2 strokes cuz of the vibration. Said it would make my arm pump worse.

So I guess my question is... is the vibration THAT BAD on 2 strokes???
IMHO putting down laps on a motocross track vibration doesn't seem to bother me. Today I hit the trails with wife (on her 4wheeler) and after about 4 hours on my smoker the fingers were buzzing pretty good.

There may be some good improvements on that new CRF but not a fan of the husky looking BNG and what's the deal with the twice pipes? Huh

TM mx 300. Same price as a 450 and an awesome bike. Got to see a ktm 300 exc in action on the track the other day. Even with enduro spec suspension it was impressive. Out of corners and down straights my RM 250 had nothing for it. My mate dji usually rides a yzf450 took it for a spin and couldn't believe how good it was. Even said he would consider one and he is anti two stroke and anti ktm

Another 300xc.

Best bike I've ridden, to date. pipe/silence, +1 sprocket, stiffer springs, and revalve, and the bike is a totally killer machine.

Considering I already have a 300 though, I would consider a 150sx. I bet that'd be a blast to just scream around on.

KXF450. I just think the new kawi's are so nice. the launch control technology is amazing and they also have the new PSF fork like the CRF 450's. The bike is super clean, the black rims add to the really nice styling too. I'm pretty sure its the lightest out there too compared to the KTM, RMZ, and YZF

Wow,check out the love for the KTM,looks like they really are winning the US over, and well deserved I say, they'be been very committed to MX in recent years, the previous hate only a year ago was unjustified IMO

If I could ride again I'd go probably go for that Factory 450 or maybe the 350 Smile

i think a new 2013 crf450 and a ktm 250sx would look good sitting next to my 07 and 11 yz450's in the workshop. i need a bigger workshop first though. I am curently in a battle with my better half/ evil dictator about the size of my puny work shop as compared to all her horse crap in our 50 x 100 pole barn. you would think an agreement could be reached with that much room to work with. I think she knows what will happen as soon as i have more room.

I would buy another 2012 YZ250F.The best stock suspension of any bike I have ever owned. It is very predictable and instills confidence when you are riding it, and that lets you attempt things you might not otherwise do.

I have had mine since Christmas and love the thing.

I like to work on my own bikes and since my time is usually limited i prefer something that i dont have to read alot about. So i would say a 250 2 stroke, everyone says the yz250 is the tits too!

Been trying to decide on which bike to buy now for a while. Want a new bike before Christmas for next years season. I am pretty sure I will either be going with a 2013 Kato 350 or 450. Would like to ride both before making my final decision. Each of the 450's from the big 4 have something about them that is enough to make me not want to own one. The whole KTM range looks great, and they really are building great production bikes.
