You know is a trip? i am not allowed to donate blood or marrow, or anything like that because my accident happened in 1985 and i had 2 (scary) blood transfusions, and it was before AIDS screening came into affect.

I remember my parents trippin hard about that, dont recall where they ended up getting the blood from.

This is sad news. I will pray for them . When my son was 11 years old we found out that he had Lukemia and our lives were a roller coaster ride for a long time. The good news is that in today's world the things that they can do are amazing and after a bone marrow trans plant my son is Cancer free.

If your not on the donor list PLEASE just think about it. Just imagine how you would feel if one day you got a phone call to donate and then later on found out that you helped save some little kid's life. Another thing to think about is that it could be our kid or loved one.

This is a sad deal.. Especially since I hear she got leukemia from the breast cancer treatment she was doing.. I can't imagine fighting something as tough as breast cancer, thinking you won and then finding out you now have something that makes breast cancer look like a common cold. Definitely putting all my thoughts and prayers in the McGrath family fight.

Sad

I can't even put into words what I want to say. This is such a bummer deal and life just seems so unfair sometimes.

My thoughts are with Kim and the entire family.

If you live in So Cal here is a place to go and get in the system in person. They swab your cheek and let you know if there is a match.

My wife, Beverly, is a 21 year survivor of breast cancer. She is a living testament to none of us being stamped with expiration dates.

Prayers for Jeremy and Kim and the kids.

This is a personal note from the 7-time Supercross champ Jeremy McGrath
that he released on twitter a short time ago.

Please do me and my wife Kim a huge favor,
please get yourself on the bone marrow registry,
it's as easy as a mouth swab.
Go to www.bethematch.com and they will mail you
out a kit or if you live near a big city you can put in your
zip code and find out when and where they are having
registry drives.
Thx,
MC
