I know she also had breast cancer but I thought she was in the clear.damn....

Very tough thing to go through. I spent a lot of time in the hospitals when I was younger watching my little Brother fight it. Almost lost him a few times due to the disease. That was the worst 8-10 years of my life watching my brother fall in and out of remission. Wishing the McGrath's the best!

really sorry to hear that. grandpa just got diagnosed with lymphoma (sp?) cancer and gave him 6 months to live. Sad

Wow.... very sad to hear, hopefully she can beat it. I too had a battle with leukemia in '88, I was only 2 years old so I don't remember much of it and I'm glad I don't. Thankfully I made a full recovery and I have been in remission for 20 or so years. I will definitely keep her in my thoughts.

My thougths and prayers go out to the McGrath's. Cancer is such a horrible disease! I've been battling Lymphoma for a little over 3 years...wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy...

Thoughts and prayers to MC, his wife and family.

We all know someone who succumbed to the disease but I know people who kicked it's ass. I know 2 that HAD leukemia specifically and don't anymore. Let's hear more of those stories, they are just as real and far more encouraging.
