I had a female spaniel named Mikuni. People really liked the name. Non-motos usually said something like "How pretty. What does it mean?"

I had a dog named Cooper after Guy Cooper, got ate up by a cougar. Wasn't the first time just the last that got him bad.
Is this Beau? I remember Cooper from Village Creek in the 90s. I like him so much I now have two boxers. Female named Wilma (Flintstones) and a new male named Bam-Bam, (Barcia,,duh).

We had a male black lab (big ol dog) that we named Spy. Thought it went pretty well for him except people sometimes thought we were calling him "Spot." Didn't have a spot on him though...well, except for the birth mark on his tongue

Back in the mid-70's I had a female Husky named Kaija (after Heikki Mikkola's wife) and a cat named Moto.

I find it's better to name your dog yourself. Since it's your own dog and all.

Oh yeah I forgot about the cat I had..."Roger."
Of course my non-moto friends thought that I'd named him after some football player.

i had a rescued dog named Whippit because his one leg was about 2 inches shorter than the other and his hip was deformed. he would jump off the top stair of our 6 stair entry and hit the one wall with his ass every time. it was awesome. big party hit. he'd come running and jumping into the room and 9 times out of 10 someone would yell "Braap"

he actually started coming to "Braap" also, he was badass

You said she has misc spots here and there so if she has an area of 3 call her tripple. If she has an area or 2 of 2 you could call her double.
There are a lot of good ideas in here. Another might be Kicker or as another spin off of huckabuck Hucka. I would suggest to try and keep it 2 syllable.
