Awesome ride! USA!!! USA!!!
If he keeps making that kind of noise, I wouldn't be surprised to see him on a quality team next year.
Keep it going!

he rode fantastic this weekend, and obviously gets on with the bike really well- hopefully steve will be able to offer him a full time ride on the team to do the rest of the gp's (and maybe some british champs/ red bull pro nationals?)

would expect an announcement soon if it is going to happen?

Obviously the 2-stroke helped him hone his skills right before heading off to Europe.

Talcum powder in the gloves help tremendously! Some people are clueless on how much those fucking blisters really hurt when you ride. It's like someone is attacking your hand with a belt grinder for 30+ minutes.......friggin' OOWWW!

Great rides on a V. Good bike!

But unless Steve Dixon can come up with a third bike or Zach or Arnoud fail to return the I can't see this going any further. Both Zach and Arnoud are very close to winning races when everyone else is on their 'A' game.

One more thing. Just how good does this make Lupino on the Husky? After all his results seem pretty good with what is obviously a (relatively) poor bike.......

Funny how he went from struggling in the top 20 last year on husky to go 3-3 on the weekend this year on that Kawasaki that comes in blue.Silly

He had a couple of top ten finishes on the Husky and showed he had the potential, just happy for him that he got to prove it on a good bike.

I said last year that should he want to race the GP's again he should try and pursue a place on a British based team like Zach. I don't think being based in Italy, on an Italian team and with an Italian team mate did him any favours, let alone riding underpowered bike.

How can anyone be suprised? If you ride fast with that Husky in a anti-American team like he did. Mf,mf ,crap, crap, crap shiiiit!! Sorry Rocket! Just had a touch of touretts syndrom there. He can ride anything fast. You put him on a proper bike and he is going for warpspeed soon for sure. Good luck.

He said in his post-race interview that he'd been training for 14 minute SX races, not 40 minute motos.

He also mentioned in the interview that he is riding Vegas SX

I'm happy for Leib and really impressed with his result, but can we stop the Husky bashing? The bike is obviously working fine for Lupino and all of their offroad guys both here and abroad.
5/1/2012 11:48pm
Husky seem to be where KTM were a few years ago in that they're coming up, gradually getting better and better. I have no doubt that everyone on that team and those back at factory are working very hard to improve the bike. But as it is right now, it's not going to be anywhere near as good as one of Steve Dixon's Yamaha's.
