Why is it we can search any nascar race track and find who had the fastest lap times ever? It seems that they keep the lap time records on file somewhere. But not true for outdoor MX. Unless I am wrong. I feel that when it comes to the outdoor tracks RC. still holds the fastest times. How can we find out who holds the fastest times on the outdoor tracks.? Do you know the answer on how we can find out.?

Does it matter? A NASCAR track is a bunch of cement that changes minimally year to year. The national tracks can be a minute difference from practice to race time. Apples and oranges

lol. my best guess, without thinking for more than 2 seconds, is that the tracks change every year. layouts and more.

The reason why I want to find out is. I beleive that when RC was on the Honda CR250R he set the fastest times ever. No one not even Bubba beat his times when he was on the KX450f. Is This True or False?

Well ya it does matter. If it does not why do they announce the fastest lap time at practice. Then compair that to the main event.? Just for the record not all tracks have changed their layout.

There's nothing to prove. The track layouts change every year, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, sometimes more open, sometimes tighter. You can't make a comparison. There are no fastest times ever. Doesn't that make sense to you? I hope so or your cause is lost, which most folks are suspecting already.

Eh, it'd still be cool to have a record of. Even if the tracks change each year. It wouldn't hurt. Just like keeping record of any stat in any sport, things change, but there's still something to be found by analyzing the numbers.

I do not care what you or anyone says about the reasons they jumped to a 4stroke!!! When RC was on the Twostroke wheather it be CR or RM his lap times were faster on the 2stroke.
