Had the luxury of attending Seattle this weekend, thanks to my buddy for hooking me up with a ticket and letting me stay in his trailer.
First and foremost was the weather. Not only was it sunny, but it was warm. I've been to Seattle a handful of times and never have I experienced both.
There was a Mariners game right next door at Safeco field, and on the way to the pits there was a healthy mix of SX and baseball fans walking the streets, and I must say that not only were the baseball chicks a whole helluva lot hotter, but the baseball fans in general just look more like regular upstanding citizens. The SX crew was a bunch of black hat, tatted up dipshit squads. See thread titled "Seattle SX Fight, Bro." It was crazy that the 21st perfect game in MLB history was thrown right next to us in that baseball park.
The track was pretty damn good, better than years past. Made for good racing. I haven't watched the SPEED broadcast yet, but did anyone else see Roczen's line over the dragonback, and his near miss during the main? He definitely didn't triple out of it after that almost-crash that could have easily put him on the sidelines for a very long time. Wilson and Tomac's battle was definitely the highlight of the racing that evening, but Shorty and Roczen's race was very entertaining as well.
Best part of the weekend: The weather and the racing.
Worst part of the weekend: Supercross fans. I'm going to go on a little rant here, so ye be forewarned. As the night show was kicking off, I had very mixed emotions. I was excited to be there and see the racing and enjoy supercross in person, but I was also very agitated by what a giant group of idiots had packed the stadium. So many d-bags with Fox and Monster shirts and their bitchin sunglasses and their sick backwards Rockstar hats. No shortage of really ugly girls in some type of trashy clothes with a shit ton of makeup on. Some of you may say "why are you so worried about the people at a race? Just enjoy it." I did enjoy it, but it's not abnormal to observe the crowd, and this crowd on this date was a gathering of retards. It makes me embarrassed to be associated with these tools. It makes me embarrassed for the sport, to be honest.
Anyway, rant over, hope anyone else who was in attendance had a good time like I did, minus the pathetic fans.

However, I AGREE WITH YOU. Nothing worse than drunk and energy drink high people in a SX stadium. There is always fights.... hard to bring youngsters around the garbage.
I think the current Ms Supercross e' donna molta bella e brava.
Do not get me started on the quality of women who attend Tennis matches..... they are amazing.

i know i know, stick and ball sports blah blah, but seriously, the difference is unfuckinreal.
and you're dead on with the "trashy chicks" at a supercross versus the "hotter" chicks at the baseball game.
BTW when you get a second let me know what that feels like.......I've always wondered.
The west coast races have waaaaaaay more douchebags than the rounds back east, it seems.
Okay, yeah, but if they are douchebags, they'd be that if they were wearing suits.
Pit Row
Mike, not always true, when I wear one of my suits, I look like a distinguished douche bag!
