This looks just as good, or better, than any Factory Honda I have laid eyes on.

beautiful bike...

I feel bad saying it, but every time I see a Honda on here with a black Renthal bar pad I say it...it would look just that little bit better with a red Renthal bar pad, trust me.

It is a very beautiful bike,

Done right in my mind... Still looks like a racer, but the attention to detail is something my bike lacks.. Mines a 10 footer, ha...

Something about bright red that makes that bike look so nice.. I would ride it but maybe not race it...

I love everything about it...except for the hose clamp on the carburetor inlet....Not as classy as the rest of the bike....Great job.

My old 02 CR250 right befor I sold it.....and to this day i regret selling this bike, it was diled head to toe exactly for me, weak on the bottom but pulled further than ANY 250 Ive ever ridden, absolutely loved this bike but my RM's are a little better. Still she was a beauty and I wish I could track it down and buy it back from whomever owns it.

Andrew Short follows me on twiiter so i'm gonna send him the link to this thread so he can check out the two stroke replica you made of his old factory bike. I'm pretty sure he'll think it's badass.

Hey you know there are at least 5 to 7 car shows on tv that do this sort of stuff all the time.. I think it would be great and something different if Speed TV had something similar just for bikes of all terrain. Not just Choppers.. Then people like MxSkillz could show case their bikes. Cheerful Then we could see our dreams on TV.Cool Instead of biker's warreing crotchless chaps and bars so far out you can not reach them.. Call it Real Rides For Real Riders.Cool
Thats a great idea! lets make that happen

What is "media" blasting? Is that different to sand blasting, or soda blasting?

same principal as sand or soda blasting except a coated silica or seed shells for example

from what i understand is that it removes the paint and creates microscopic dents to cover up the dirt..someone correct me if im wrong

ive used soda blasting but wasnt particularly impressed by it, but i think it had more to do with my compressor than the actual baking soda
